"We visited this terrible restaurant on August 28th at 7:00 PM. I inquired about a table for later and was told one would be available. When we arrived, we waited to be seated. However, an English couple who arrived after us was seated before us, despite being told to wait. We were eventually placed at a noisy and unpleasant table. Feeling angry and discriminated against, we decided to leave. My wife was deeply offended by the treatment we received. Despite their attempts to soothe the situation by claiming it was a mistake, we witnessed the discrimination firsthand. We left feeling very disappointed. Be prepared for their disrespectful behavior."

Our favourite Indian when visiting Plymouth. Large varied menu. Lovely service with amazing food. Can’t wait to come back.

Good food, reasonably priced. Consistent quality. In my opinion, best in central Plymouth atvth3 moment, particularly when you factor cost in.

We love this restaurant. The food is very good with great service. There is an excellent choice of meals and strength of curry and the house special is worth a go. Best to book

I almost overlooked this restaurant, but I'm so glad I didn't! I had a delightful meal with friendly and attentive waitstaff. The food was delicious, especially the flavorful Lamb Katmandu. I highly recommend this place.

Great food and customer service. we’ll be returning. The only down side was they tried to put us in the room at the back of the restaurant. Brightly lit, and I mean bright!! with no atmosphere. Completely different to the front of the restaurant and upstairs. But we were offered a table upstairs.

Gorgeous meal , both my husband and I throughly enjoyed our meal. My vegetarian Dhansak was exquisite and my husband chose the vegetarian Ceylon curry which he too would highly recommend. Only criticism is that the lighting was too dim as we had trouble reading the menu and also one of the waiters wasn’t particularly engaging. Ver carta

Best indian food I have ever had in the UK. Firstly we ordered momos for takeaway and booked a dinner table for later and the manager assured as a table for later. Food was fantastic, out of the world even the service. Staff was very professional, manager helped us to choose the best and spicy dishes out of the menu. I would really recommend to go and have food if you are in Plymouth. A worth place to visit!

Friday 22nd September. We actually got a takeaway solely based on the reviews. Positives; Popadums, Naan, Rice all decent. Chicken Madras Chicken Tikka Balti identical thin soupy sauce (albeit tasty still v thin). Himalayan Squid…. The only blessing was that it was a tiny portion. The only question; what did that poor squid ever do to you?! A laugh out loud serving if the worst degree… still the kids loved the popadums!

"Visited on a busy Saturday evening. General impression is the restaurant is clean, well presented and evidently well liked for how many people were in the small dining area. A little noisy, particularly in the confined space beside the kitchen, when seated close beside a louder table. As the evening progressed, we felt quite cold not sure if the heating was on? Service from the staff was outstanding, very friendly, polite, attentive, but food was slow to arrive. We were a little perplexed by having the appetiser on the table before our starter/main order had been taken, so having to work around still having the menus. The smoked butter was very strong my partner liked it, it was too much for me. Both fish starters were good, with the mackerel our favourite. The main courses were OK. The lamb was fine, but served with lamb fat root veg meant the whole plate was very similar flavoured, and the green beans/salsa verde felt like an afterthought. The skate wing was nice, and the crispy capers were a new and pleasant experience. The desserts rescued the food for me the creme brulée was outstanding, and the chocolate special was very good, with exception of a slightly chewy meringue. I feel I'm being picky with my criticisms, but fig tree is definitely priced higher than other more standard fare restaurants in Plymouth where we have also had very good food."
