Hofbrau zur Frauenkirche

a piece of bayern in sachsen. as a big Bavarian lover, I felt like home here. the staff was super nice and the food was very delicious. If we're back in town, we'll come back.

great, rich eating, great beer and super courteous, friendly staff. unfortunately there is just a construction site in front of the gas house, which does not bother. we were there several times at the weekend.

later we looked for the hofbräuhaus - and met very friendly staff and good (guest) mood. the kitchen was already closed, but a basket of fresh brez’n could be organized for us. we will be happy to come back to the rustic farm house with the tasty beer!

great cozy atmosphere, tasty whiteworst taken with wine. served in porcelain dishes. bavarian urig raised. service very friendly and attentive. in the savings price 1 pair of white sausages with brezel 1 white beer € 7,50 - absolutely nothing to put out. the selection of the card does not leave a Bavarian desire to eat open. very recommended!

uninspired, slow, unfriendly staff. the potato soup as an appetizer is very rich but tasty. the kartoffelsalat to the wiener schnitzel was with several whole kartoffels (how is this??), the schnitzel itself was good. the waiting times, including the bill, were felt eternal and it was not full. crowning was however the unfriendly operation. who wants to eat Bavarian, in the immediate vicinity there are better restaurants with more rich dining offer and more friendly service.

I am am amazed at the good reviews of this local. we had carving. If the cook had to serve this dish in Bavarians, his life expectancy would be very low! (shrink!) regardless of the quality of raw materials, he was obviously not in the position to process it accordingly. For example, the potato salad was rather a potato puree with spicy cucumbers from the canned. which design freedom has enlivened him to serve him with more prizes is closing off to me. as already stated in other reviews, there are alternatives.

there are no people at all! empty halls await people with great beer, probably the best of Germany! (nun, here of course, everyone has different opinions about taste and color. but for me, a girl who is not a beer fan and drinks only in the Czech Republic and in Germany, this is the best!!!) and in this restaurant everything is so delicious and so beautiful! but there is a construction site near, and it is not visible. Come, you will like it! I have eaten there sparingly - the season is the same! and everything was great! and there are frescoes on the deck!

This is going to be quite straightforward. I am very partial to old traditional eateries which still live in their past and carry that feeling very well. That is to the merit of this place. I was in very good company and didn't even notice the time passing. The merit of that, I reckon was ours. But the service was good and the waitresses really welcoming and completed the gusto of the evening. The beer was super and the broth quite comforting on a cold evening, not that it was anything to make a song and dance about though. The fare my friends ordered seemed to be more agreeable to be just. So I should have been more discerning.

we had reserved in December for dinner in the hofbräu. when we arrived we were led to our table, which was apparently not even wiped off. the service was completely overwhelmed with the crowds and their technology. it took a long time until we had our drinks and then only 2 of 3 people got their food, as something went wrong when booking. the suppe and the drinks were in order, but also not further special. the mood of the personal was very tense, one has often been able to get the one or the other apart, which simply does not have to be and should be clarified away from the guests. two toilets for a whole restaurant are a sweat, not to mention the lack of cleanliness. once and never again.
