Had another wonderful Sunday Lunch at this very friendly local pub. Food superb, great service and the staff are so very efficient and friendly. I would certainly recommend this pub for both food and drinks.

The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. I visit this restaurant twice a week as I live in Grassmoor. My partner and her grandkids always come with me and they especially enjoy the bouncing castle.

Lovely clean place. Superb service, friendly staff and informative. The food (Sunday lunch) was delicious and plentiful. Deserts are scrumptious especially the special board Honeycomb cheesecake. This is a place we will return to again and again. Ver carta

New owners,excellent staff,warm and friendly, food fresh and tasty,doggie friendly. We were just visiting on holiday, but if we lived closer,we would make this our local. Good all round pub,for everyone, kids,dogs,bouncy castle and outside areas .

We had a wonderful Halloween lunch at this restaurant. The kids had a great time being entertained by the magician. The food was delicious and the price was great. Rachel and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend stopping by for a visit.

The quality of the beef was excellent, surpassing typical pub fare. The pricing is very reasonable, with a standard lunch costing £9.50 and a large lunch priced at £11.50. Had the most amazing Christmas Fayre meal ever ... so accomodating... my daughter is the fussiest eater ever but gave her exactly what she wanted . food was second to none , everything home cooked, soup was amazing , prawn cocktail best we've seen ever ... pate absolutely beautiful. Absolutely nothing I could fault if I tried ... if I'd have known previously would have booked for Xmas day as all food was amazing . Staff are the friendliest people you will ever meet. went for Sunday lunch yesterday (30/07/23 with friends, I had the roast pork which was disgusting more gristle and fat than meat ,found it nearly impossible to cut any meat away from the fat and gristle ,Yorkshire pudding didn't taste to good in fact the whole meal needed putting in the bin, the lady came to our table asking if everything was ok so I said no and showed her the state of my pork and all she said was do you want another piece I said no thank you ,she wasn't bothered one bit about my complaint.my friend also complained about her beef which was as tuff as old boots and she told the lady that she will take it home for her dog ,the lady just replied of that's best place for it . we...

Well, what can I say. What a place! We travelled up from the south to visit family for the weekend and I decided to try here. I was diagnosed with Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) about 3 years ago which is a chronic stomach acid problem it has changed so much of what I can eat my diet has become very bland. I explained to the barmaid she could not do me enough. She listened carefully then she willingly spoke to the chef (who I understood was her dad). Honestly, they were so kind caring went to so much trouble so I could have a meal. The chef even cooked me a jacket potato removed the potato out of it to mash it because I cannot have butter/marg or milk. The plate was a very generous... Ver carta
