Merseytravel is proposing to close Woodside Ferry. Evidently there is a public meeting to discuss this on Thursday 7 January but I cannot find...

Hosted to have a drink. Ordered tea and latte. Waited over 20 minutes just for this plus was given in take out cups as they got it wrong we were staying in. Feel there wasn't enough staff. Ver carta

Had tea and cake while waiting for the next ferry across to town, as I imagine quite a few people do. Cake was awesome. Prices were a little high but teapot for tea was huge! I drank a lot of tea very quickly as I was concerned about missing the boat. Spoiler alert: We didn't miss the boat.

Good coffee and drinks all round and some really excellent simple food. Nice location while waiting for the Mersey Ferry to return to Liverpool. It was a nice day so it was really pleasant sitting outside. Not the most picturesque layout but a great view watching the ships on the river. All lovely and clean. Staff excellent and good fum.

The food was very nice but we didn’t receive what we ordered, the cheese and chutney didn’t appeal much without any chutney!.. it’s very expensive for what you get (especially when you don’t get what you order) the food did however arrive promptly... they could also do with clearing tables more often, it wasn’t that busy and they appeared to have plenty of staff in... The staff here are quite clearly unhappy which affects the level of service to customers and the atmosphere in the café. Customers are ignored while at the counter and positive customer service is lacking. Even the simplest of orders (tea and toast! takes more than 15 minutes to arrive even when the café is quiet. Although the food and drink is of a good standard, this is let down by the attitude of the staff.

I visited this establishment today for lunch as I was in the area and fancied a sandwich. There are lots of seating options available from comfy sofas, booths and dining tables as well as an outside seating area which gives you a view of Liverpools famous waterfront. The food was excellent, I ordered a chicken chirizo club sandwich and a bowl of potato hash as a side. It came in good time and was well presented, tasty and clearly freshly prepared also. The prices were reasonable with my lunch and a drink coming to just over £12.00. This place is well worth a visit if your in the area and I will definitely return again in the future.

We went to a private 70th Birthday part in July, in the middle of the hot spell, at this venue. So we were able to take advantage of the seating area outside. Wonderful views across the River Mersey, they simply got better as it went to dusk then night. But less about the view. What impressed me were a number of things firstly the service, staff were friendly and service was second to none, nothing was too much trouble. The food, which was a served buffet upstairs was delicious, What I would call lightweight summer food, burgers, pulled pork and halloumi on burgers, with salad etc, Great choice for such a hot night.
