Sunday for lunch. Ordered fondue for 2 persons is not possible to order cooked potatoes as a by-court, only bread, pickles additionally. Went for lunch on Sunday. Ordered fondue for 2 people it’s not possible to order boiled potatoes as side dish, only bread, pickles cost additional. During our stay in Lauterbrunnen we ended up coming to this restaurant a lot. We came here several days for the view, the pictures, and it was usually the restaurant that closed the latest. The staff was somewhat friendly, the food is average, but the...appetizers and the wine were good enough to return, relax, and enjoy the view. Ver carta

The place has two chefs, one of which does Swiss food and the other Chinese. The day we were there only Chinese food was available. We had fried rice dishes plus some other common dishes. The food was average and the price high, even for a Swiss place. The service was marginal as they only had one waitress. The location has a good view.

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen und sehr unfreundlicher Mann an der Rzeption ! Ich war nicht in der Lage dieses miese Zimmer zu benutzen, das Geld 140 sfr. wurde vorgängig schon von meinem Konto abgezogen, so eine frechheit . Ich habe mich dann im Hotel Silberhorn niedergelassen, was für einen Unterschied !!!!! Und das für 119 sfr. Wirklich nicht weiter zu empfehlen das Jungfrau Hotel ist da zuviel gesagt, einfach nur die reinste Abzocke.

We visited the restaurant while vacationing in Lauterbrunnen. My husband and I both had schnitzel - it was okay I have had better at many other restaurants. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean and had nice decor . . . the menu had many regional favorites and Chinese food which surprised me. As with everything in Switzerland, it did seem expensive, but right in line with pricing in similar restaurants in the area. 2 schnitzle dinners and 2 sodas ran us about 63 US dollars Ver carta

Stopped here late one evening to have a snack. The place didn't seem to be very busy, however seemed a little understaffed. There was one man running around/hustling doing the best he could to take care of everyone at their tables. They were serving Chineese food this night. We ordered appetizers only which seemed to take a long time to get (roughly 40 minutes) However....... The food did NOT disappoint! It was VERY, VERY good which more than up for the wait time. Definitely try this place......I think you will be overall happy.

Although this restaurant is not even mentioned by Rick Steves in his guides, this place is great. The food we had there was the best we had in Switzerland. Both local cuisine with wild sausage or more typical European cuisine, such as roast baby chicken, were... very good. From their veranda one had a good view of the dustfalls and the surrounding mountains (if it was not cloudy). There were roses on the tables and soft jazz music in the background. But the waiting staff made this restaurant even more. Chris, a summer waiter from Poland, was so good that we returned every night in Lauterbrunnen. Thank you.
