"During our trip we have visited this family restaurant located high up the mountains. It was the first time we visited this kind of restaurant. The weather was perfect and they placed everybody outside so we have the chance to admire beautifull landscales. The staff was absolutely friendly. We chose the mix of different grilled meats. The idea of this restaurant is that you choose the hot dish and besides they serve standard appetisires, salades etc. The main dish is meat of all kinds cooked on open fire. Beside they served Rissotto, salades on your choice. Everything was delicious. We can hardly finish meats though my son and my friend are really fond of meat. The portions were absolutely big. Unexpectedly the dessert were delicious too, not meat only. We left them full and happy."

"For quality measures, the assessment is divided into three main topics: staff, location/Ambiente, food/price staff: The staff was friendly and although we had no reservations, they gave us the opportunity to sit on their terrace. The waiter was a friendly and attentive person, although she seemed more stressed. 4.5 of 5.0 Location/Ambience: The restaurant itself is quite difficult to find as it is pretty well hidden, but the terrace is located right next to the lake that offers an amazing view. The ambience there gave a quiet and sorta romantic atmosphere and was very atmospheric and beautiful. 5.0 out of 5.0 Essen/Price: For the food we had the homemade Gnocci for ~20 CHF and the homemade macaroni for ~21 CHF. For the drinks we had a Hugo for 8th and a white Merlot for 6th CHF. The dish of food was hot, which is very good, as it kept the food warm. The pasta were both homemade and fresh and tasted very good. They seemed to be cooked on site and therefore tasted amazing. They were not fat and perfectly seasoned and only very amazing. The portion size was also very fair and you have quite a lot of pasta clearly adjusted the price as quality and quanitity. The menu did not have too many dishes on it, but the dishes seem very well made and fresh. 5.0 out if 5.0 To summarize it, the total rating is 4.8 and therefore very good! I would definitely recommend going there if you have good pasta and all the other great dishes they offer. If you want more privacy, I recommend a reservation in advance."

"Bin mit meinem Mann auf Grund der Bewertungen ins Restaurant gegangen. Bin aber ziemlich enttäuscht. Ich habe einen grünen Salat und eine Pizza Prosciutto Funghi bestellt und mein Mann eine Pizza Salmone. Leider war die Salatsauce nicht wirklich gut (zu salzig)und die Pizzas kamen nicht heiss auf den Tellern daher. Ich vermute, sie lagen nach dem Backen etwas rum und wurde zu früh in den Ofen geschoben, was das etwas Teigige in der Mitte und aussen eher Zähe etwas erklären könnte. Auf der Pizza Salmone war eine Kräuter-Pesto, was vermutlich Geschmacksache ist, aber wir finden auch nicht wirklich passt. Dafür war der Rotwein leider lauwarm....Also von uns eher ein leider nein und nie mehr wieder. Übrigens mit Tischtüchern, die 3-4 (vermutlich Brandlöcher) haben würde ich jetzt auch nicht mehr wirklich den Tisch decken."

"This little place is owned by a South African which made this visit extra special. It is extremely close to the Madonna del Sasso church and well worth a visit. The meals are fantastic. The meal of the day was a Focaccia bread, fresh with zucchini, mozarella and ham served with the most fresh and interesting combination of salads. The meal was compeleted with a not so sweet traditional fruitcake. Spectacular. The atmosphere inside is warm and homey and on a hot summers day, sitting outside sipping cold ice tea would be out of this world."

"terrace very lasy, restaurant visually very appealing, eating is good with claim to upscale kitchen, but could be more expressive. felchen were a little dry, foie de canard with pfirsichbegleitung on three kinds well thought up, but with shy before spicing. that the brot itself is brought and cut, although due to the selection of olive oils and salzen is original, but also a little too close to the buffet dinner. taste! the service is however more capable of improving, too much attention to the new? chef, too little the guests. and at 21:00 clock already for breakfast to cover and to clean up the upholstery from the terrace, although the terrace is still very well visited, does not testify to hospitality."
