once again, family and I decided to enjoy il borghetto for a chic dinner. eating is always great and service is super attentive. Price-quality ratio at its best, especially in combination of food with wine.

Non è mai facile trovare un locale che lascia a bocca aperta a Milano e questo mi ha conquistato alla grande! Ottimi gli antipasti accompagnati da bruschette di pomodori, lardo ecc... Stra buona la fiorentina! Addirittura ci hanno fornito una piastra bollente per cucina la parte cruda. Peccato che pioveva perché aveva un grande giardino. Il locale è carino e arredato in modo particolare. Personale gentile e cordiale. Da tenere presente per chi si trova nelle vicinanze. E' consigliata la prenotazione. Ver carta

We always say never go to restaurants in special dates such as Valentines or Mother's Day. But is was a special date for my daughter too and the restaurant is around the corner where we're living in Milan. An no other options, so we decided...to try. The owner was super helpful and nice and did her best to accommodate the unexpected big party on and busy date. They took longer than expected (as other tenants said) but keep us informed and did the best bringing starters, beverages and bread in advance. il borghetto is so typical for mailand outside the usual fashion supermarket restaurants. it is located a bit away from the city part duomo, in an old style milanese enclave. the restaurant has been refurbished and the entire atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. there is a great choice of food, but meat is in the did to die; perhaps coupled with fresh fried pommes, commonly known as “erotic chips”. weinkeller is also well equipped, with a series of solid red to enjoy the Tuscan meat. last, the service is above the tip; well experienced waiters make the dining room experience very pleasant; attention to details is a priority to them. in the did a restaurant to go back, also to enjoy the garden te...

.and were not abandoned. the starter buffet was amazing. there were all kinds of meat, seafood, cheese and various vegetables. we ordered the T-bones steaks (for two) and risotto for two. the risotto was good with a freshly grated parmesan cheese. the waiter was the...big! he brought the huge T-Knochen-Steak next to us and cut him into smaller rest. the steak was served with homemade chips. these chips were the best I ever tried and the steak was no less equal. we ordered the steak medium rarely and it was less likely than expected, although the meat was still very delicate and tasty.
