I was nervous when I entered because I was the only person there.... The food, however, was stunning!! One of the best Indian meals I've had outside of India!! When I left, there wasn't an empty seat on the room testiment to the brilliant food service. K.

Amazing food and service. The staff are very friendly and met our needs in a good timely manner. Have recommended to family and friends when/if they visit or pass the village as we are from out of the area. I can see why it’s an award winning restaurant and will return for sure.

We tried the September tasting menu at this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. There were seven courses in total, each one introduced to us. My favorite dishes were the goat and the dessert. I believe the price of £55 was exceptional value and I would definitely return again. Ver carta

My husband and I recently had the most flavorful and delicious meal we have ever tasted! It was positively amazing! We ordered takeout and it was ready on time, with great customer service when I arrived. The food was incredible! They have truly outdone themselves, with each spice and flavor shining through. It was just so delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Not a spectacular setting, but being a Sunday not much of a choice! Entered with an open mind and we were not disappointed. indian food tends to be the same whether, for example, you have a Madras or Korma in Glasgow, Newcastle or Southampton . This restaurant was different as the food served was off the beaten track and different. If the restaurant was nearer home we would go back for more.

I went to this restaurant for the first time with a group of friends, one of whom had suggested it. We were pleasantly surprised! The menu offers more than just the usual dishes, with some delicious house specialties featuring seafood, top-quality chicken, and lamb options. The service was attentive but not intrusive, and our bill was very reasonable. We will definitely return and are excited to try some new items on the menu. Ver carta

I have to be honest this place t use to be good now not so .The menu has nearly gone and you are rushed with each course .The waiter we had had no customer service skills what so ever. We went a few months ago and felt like we where rushed this time wasno difference. You also do not get any chocolates or mints with your bill now no hot flannel nothing but they still whack a service charge on your bill . Very disappointed with the food and service.

We ordered a masalla having had loads before in other restaurants .as well as in india This one was disturbingly bright red . We commented on that and they said that’s how a masalla is !!! At the end we also said it was too sugary but they didn’t seem bothered told us next time just ask for less sweetening. Vegetables some potatoes and a few peas! This was a vegetable option. Well will not be going back . If they had none of the usual ingredients they should have said it’s off the menu . The other dishes were side dishes and average so I wouldn’t complain about them

Ordered a chicken tikka madras with tarka dal, sag aloo, and raita. The madras had no heat in it or spices that I could taste and instead tasted that the chicken was just warmed with a tin of tomatoes. The raitas had globs of joghurt with a few slices of cucumber and again no spices. Seriously, you could do much better with a jar of Patak's madras paste for a fraction of the price. Total rip off and none of the taste of takeaway indian that I have enjoyed for over 40 years! This was a Friday night and you would think they would have been on form with their top chefs! Ver carta
