This is a little tricky to find as one of the streets is closed. Its well worth the effort. The food was very good, my wife described it as the best curry she has ever had. Service and banter were good, as its a BYO price was excellent.

Simply amazing. We're here on holiday and our home village has 3 indian restaurants, their quality pales compared to this one. I had the rogan josh and it was absolutely delicious. It's clear that they take quality very seriously and work hard for their reputation. Hats off!

This restaurant is just okay, serving typical Indian dishes at standard prices. It's not exactly budget-friendly. If some people consider this place the best in the area, that doesn't say much about the dining options around here. And charging £4 for a glass of flat coke? Seriously?

****** hard to find, but well worth it , super friendly service and incredibly fresh ingredients, had duck curry that actually tasted like duck, and the fresh garlic was beautiful. Paratha was super hot and super fresh and fluffy. It’s like fresh immediately hot cooked street food but indoors. Love it.

Indian Summer has got to have the best indian food in monmouthshire, All the other places cannot compare! my usual order is a chicken madras and the chicken is always tender, the madras is always a perfectly blended creation that you can’t get enough of! I had onion bhajis the other day that were out of this world melted right in my mouth, i was honestly blown away by how good it was.

It was just an impromptu visit to an Indian restaurant while we were in the town during our holiday. After having awesome food and lovely ambience with soulful music, anyone would wonder how did we come across such a little gem of a restaurant in the middle of a small town. If you are in the town, highly recommend this restaurant for tasty Indian food. Note: We are vegetarian family, but we had a great number of choices to choose from in the menu.

A truly outstanding experience. Friendly, personable service and really tasty food at very reasonable prices. We went for the set meal for 2 which was enough for the 4 of us. The garlic chicken, in particular was excellent. This place is ever so slightly off the beaten track but it’s well worth it. BYOB as well which only adds to it’s incredible value. No corkage charge either. Give it a try; you will not regret it. We will definitely return when we are next in Monmouth. Thank you Indian Summer!
