I had the pleasure to be at this Gasthaus with my family. Most of us had steak in one or another variant at it all was great. I had asparagus with steak from the seasonal asparagus menu with sauce hollandaise. This was absolutely fabulous. 12 Uhr Tisch reserviert, erst nach 13 uhr suppe am Tisch. Buffet lange Polonaise durch das Lokal mit Wartezeit von ca 25 min. Und das mit ca 200 Leuten. Saßen dann mit dem Hauptgang vom Buffet um 14.15 uhr am tisch,die ersten sind schon fertig gewesen und haben bezahlt. Buffet klein,nix besonderes zu Weihnachten, teils sogar kalt. Der koch läuft mit kleiner Schüssel Kroketten zum Buffet zum auffüllen Sehr schlecht organisiert. Und dann 38.50 euro pro essen viel zu teuer. Wir waren um 15 uhr fertig. Nie wieder,

Katastrophale Organisation -eine „Polonaise Kette“quer durch das Lokal um vor dem kleinen Saal ans Essen zu kommen mit 30 min Wartezeit. Entenkeulen/Rouladen zäh von Klößen keine Spur. Convenient Kroketten etc. Eis zum Nachtisch leider billige Grosshandel Ware. Dazu zusätzlich eine unverschämte Preispolitik von 38,50 € pro Person. Glas Wein 6,80€. Wenn die Qualität stimmen würde wäre es vielleicht in Ordnung. Leider ist Jansen nur noch ein Schatten seiner selbst.

This is one of them only a minute or two from Vechta by car.We dined there one evening and were put in the main dining room which features a glass semi-circular room. Very nice. The food is authentic German for the area along with steaks and other western favorites. I had the Jager Schitzel and a couple of beers to compliment the German feast. The food was outstanding and very good value for the money. Overall food prices in Vechta at this time of year seem very good. Perhaps it is far enough away from the major centres but good value for sure.I would certainly go back here first when back in Vechta. Ver carta
