"We went here to eat mainly because of the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was characterized by a more than poor service (in terms of time and the side dishes are, in my opinion, very high in price (8 wedge slices, in words eight for more than 4 euros is steep or were the slices previously in one Ardbeg inserted 8 . 18:02 Arrival with existing reservation 18:15 drink order 18:35 Drinks! 18:50 Food order placed 19:15 Salad, goat cheese and edamame 19:50 (almost two hours after arrival main course, fortunately there was salad and the above mentioned accessories more than half an hour before We didn't have a dessert for reasons of time, even big children have to go to bed early ; Other guests (senior citizens and a family table with 6 people commented accordingly, with whom we also spoke about the service. It's a shame, I think, because this restaurant has an incredible amount of potential, both for the eye (the whiskey collection and for the palate (the quality of the food is absolutely top class! Therefore only 3 stars in total."

"The food is mediocre and expensive, the coffee is good. The main thing is the experience there that is pleasant to sit in and spacious and clean. There is a beautiful view and a convenient location, you can sit inside or outside. The service was pleasant but in the display window of the cakes there is really no help and explanation in the English language and it is difficult to know what each item contains. The taste was average even though the cakes look wow. I also had an affogato and it was great and served in a cool glass with a small cookie on the side. There are clean toilets. Recommended for a refreshment stop but do not come with high culinary expectations."

"I'm not really excited, but I'm very happy to take it. at the arrival I immediately noticed the almost completely occupied parking places, which I first brought back to the fact that it was Saturday night. I was pleased with the rural presentation immediately and the very well-stocked gas rooms impressed me and made it seem to me that it must be a very popular gas house. this was confirmed a short time later than the very friendly waitress brought the menu and took up the drinks. a more attentive round view brought my curiosity to eat, because the portions that were served all around were lost were delightful to the palate. And indeed, some of the tellers seemed to be eating for two, but this proved to be irrtum when my salad plate was served with grilled cute pieces. I am not a bad eater, however, I had my effort to fully incorporate the excellent meal to me and not only I was so, almost everyone gassed got a amazed look at the size of the portions. the taste stood in nothing and when I paid I had to ask if the charming waitress had not forgotten to calculate, because 2 excellent speissen incl. 2 drinks at 36 euro appeared to me a little bit! but there are the portions really big and the price small. a family business that really deserves its excellent call. my opinion after 5 stars restaurant with 3 hoods kitchen if this is possible, am no restaurant critic!"

"Waren zum ersten Mal am Achensee ,so auch in den Michl Stuben Maurach. Wir hatten Online das 5 Gänge Überraschungsmenü am Sonntag bestellt. Wir wurden vom Kellner Frederic freundlich begrüßt und an den Tisch begleitet und auf das Menü kompetent vorbereitet ,außerdem empfahl er uns die passenden Weine. Das Menü war vom Gruß aus der Küche bis zum Dessert fantastisch, kreativ , überraschend und Regional bezogen . Einfach Spitzenklasse , wir waren begeistert ! Eines der besten Menüs, das wir bis jetzt genießen durften. Ihr Restaurant ist jeden Feinschmecker nur zu empfehlen. Als krönender Abschluss besuchte Richard Bracklow jeden Tisch ,nicht immer üblich. Danke für das Erlebnis !"
