"Upon our arrival, it appeared that the restaurant wasn’t aware of our reservation, despite having booked weeks in advance. We were welcomed by Paul, who was very helpful throughout our visit. We ordered our meals, but while some items were advertised as gluten-free, they were unable to provide gluten-free bread. The waitress seemed uncertain about what she was serving and had to make multiple trips to the kitchen. However, the food was delicious, served hot, and came on generous-sized plates. If you're looking for value for your money and are quite hungry, this is the place for you."

The tables were dirty, the service was poor, the floor was not clean, and the food was just below average. However, the garden area was pleasant, which was a nice touch.

Outstanding service and meal. Friendly staff throughout our time at the pub. Massive portions and even got the option to take any leftovers home. Defenitly will be coming back.

I received the wrong drink at my table. There was a lengthy wait before we could place our order, and the food took over 45 minutes to arrive. I ordered the Ploughman’s lunch, but the grated cheese was dry and lacked flavor. Ver carta

this pub does not use this online booking system, so it is useless to make a reservation to this wise, as they do not get it. the staff was rude when we arrived, they had no beer at all, and then their kitchen was broken, so there was no food.

It was quite possibly the worst dining experience I have ever had. The food was awful, the service wasn’t the best although one member of staff did try. There is absolutely no way any of there so called ‘from the smoker’ range was actually from a smoker, unless the smoker was referring to the chef smoking out the front in his chef whites. The food cold, meat was over cooked but the chips were extremely under cooked. The menu is far to large to be able to keep everything fresh. We will not be going back
