Just Williams - Carta

Turned up this evening for a meal that I had booked for my partner's birthday but it was closed. They could have let us know! Shame as we love Just William.

Fantastic welcome, lovely food and amazing ambience. Great choice of meals, quality was brilliant, cannot fault anything. Thank you so much. Look forward to returning.

Nice range of food to choose from, all served piping hot with delicious sauces to accompany (we had Stilton sauce and Peppercorn sauce). Dessert was fantastic and we all left feeling a little larger than when we arrived. Would come again. Ver carta

We had a very enjoyable 3 course meal at a very reasonable price. Local home cooked food and we were met by a genial host. The young waiting staff were very polite and helpful. This is not the first time we have visited this quaint little restaurant and we will return again in the bit too distant future. Word of advice book well in advance

Visited for our anniversary didn't realise it was a set menu on a Thursday but not dissappointed great choice of starters ,mains and desserts ,Food and service was very good all piping hot when served and very tasty best steak I have had in a long time ,very quirky little place with a nice atmosphere already rebooked for next visit with some visiting friends .

We had been wanting to eat at this restaurant for a while and we are so glad we finally did. The food was fantastic with a great selection to choose from. I ordered the tarragon chicken which was delicious, and my wife had the duck... so tasty. We enjoyed some wonderful wine with our meal. The service was outstanding and all the staff were very friendly. I will definitely be returning many times in the future! Ver carta

We were due to visit for a meal tonight My husband emailed at 11am to advise my child was ill and we would be unable to attend! As you can partly see in the top of the photo! We received the rude email below who I assume is the manager! We were going to re book when my child was better but after this email we will take our booking elsewhere!!! What a shame we were looking forward to visiting my old village restaurant after 30 years of moving away!

I went to this restaurant for dinner with my mom, who recommended it, and I absolutely loved it. The venue is charming, located in a traditional cottage, and the service was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious, with a small but perfectly cooked menu. The rump steak was the best I've had in a long time, and the treacle sponge pudding was even better. And all at an incredible value price - three high quality, freshly cooked courses, including steak, for just £19.95. I will definitely be returning!

I visited Just Williams for the first time last night, and it was excellent. Nigel provided a friendly welcome, and we enjoyed drinks at our table before ordering our food. We all started with ginger fish cakes, followed by duck in plum sauce for our mains. The dishes were cooked perfectly, with tender duck and a delicious plum sauce. The vegetables were also cooked to perfection, and everything was reasonably priced. The waitresses provided great service, being friendly and polite. Thank you to Nigel, Annie, and the team - we will definitely be returning and recommending Just Williams to others. Ver carta
