"I wouldn't say the setting, furniture,or the wait staff was particularly great, but when I want to go eat some raw fish far from the coast, then my ranking is based primarily on the fish. I did enjoy sitting at the large picture window and watching the crowds go by. The restroom was a bit nasty. I asked first for something not on the menu -- a plate with half salmon and half tuna sashimi. The waiter said that would be fine, but a different person interrupted me on the way to the toilet to say that wouldn't be okay. That made me a bit suspicious. They have the fresh fish right there -- right? Why on earth wouldn't they be able to carve a bit of each off and put it on the plate? But my seat at the picture window was on the opposite side of the shop as the chefs and I never found out. But eventually my salmon came, and that fish was tasty. As my title says, when it comes to sashimi, a restaurant is welcome to screw up a bit, because I'll be ranking on the quality of the fish. This is the best I've ever had outside of an upscale Japanese restaurant in Frankfurt,"

Very authentic and always fresh made sushi of highest quality. You can even watch it being prepared and chat with the chef. Unfortunately the Miso soup is made with fish, no VEG option here.

great variety of dishes, delicious food, long waiting time for food, up to an hour sometimes. Small restaurant with only a few places, so reservation is obligatory. Worth the wait and price.

We made a reservation for this place to have dinner and we will waiting about two and a half. Then finally we got to eat and the outcome of this it was not that great I would not go back if I been paid too.

Super delicious vegan sushi. One of my fav stores to eat. You can order take out but you need to pick it up yourself! You also need to book a table otherwise you will have a problem around normal dinner time etc to get a table.

Kado is the best Sushi restaurant in Bielefeld. It's in the city center and the interior design is classically Japanese and very welcoming. Polite and friendly staff. Handmade sushi with fresh and extraordinary ingredients. Good beverages menu. Perfect to start a night out in the city

The best sushi I have eaten so far. Everything is self-made. Lovely staff, top quality sushi with a lot of organic regional ingredients. Warm and cozy ambiance. Everything which is marked as vegetarian is also vegan. You sound definitely book a table in advance for the weekends. But I‘m really missing wakame and edamame as starters.
