"I recommend the booking as they were busy, but we had luck that a few people went. very nice eating and well presented. Make sure to check the day special board. the main thing was over £11/£12 mark. we enjoyed all our meal times. I had a vegan curry with half jasmine and half chips. we had also ordered a side of chips that did not arrive and had to ask at the end. I thought the desserts were over the price £6.95 and the part did not justify the price. they did not have the vegan/dairy free ice. absolutely beautiful, friendly staff and helpful help."

Great pub with nice atmosphere and fantastic food. My only critique would be the quality of the steak is not worth the money. All the other food we had was fantastic but just let down by my own meal.

I had an impromptu dinner on Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock and managed to find two available tables. The service was quick, and the food was fantastic, especially the Black Forest cheesecake! I can't wait to go back for the finals.

Popular tradition pub serving a good range of craft beers. Excellent pub classic food. We thoroughly enjoyed the steak sandwiches. Dog friendly and attracts ramblers enjoying the surrounding countryside. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Ver carta

This pub is truly stunning, set against a beautiful landscape with fantastic views. The welcome upon arrival is warm and inviting. They offer a great selection of drinks and high-quality food. Be sure to make a reservation, especially on weekends. I will definitely return!

I visited on Thursday afternoon without a reservation, and the restaurant was quite busy, which I always take as a good sign. We ordered four different meals, and each dish was well-presented, well-cooked, and had generous portion sizes. The service was excellent. The prices were very reasonable, aside from a small item that was a bit pricey at £2.50 – not sure what that was about. Overall, it's wonderful to see a thriving pub restaurant, especially when so many others have had to close. I will definitely be going back soon!
