As always, the roast dinner at this restaurant is top-notch. I have no complaints at all. The price range per person is between £10 and £20. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect score of 5.

Last minute family gathering. Food was disappointing . Carvery was cold. Desserts served without utensils when we asked for utensils we were told to wait but no one brought any. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Ver carta

This restaurant is disappointing. The staff seemed unhappy and were not helpful when we asked for serviettes. The portions of meat were small and contained a lot of fat and bones. The waitress used a strong-smelling cleaner on the table next to us. We were not given any acknowledgment that we were finished with our meal. We will not be returning.

We celebrated a 70th birthday with 8 people at Kings Head on a Sunday at 1pm. We had pre-booked a table and were greeted by friendly and courteous staff who showed us to our table. A staff member even helped us set up a birthday banner. We all opted for the carvery option and despite it being busy, we were taken to the carvery area with plenty of choices including roast pork, turkey, beef, potatoes, batter pudding, carrots, peas, and more. Our plates were warmed and we selected our desired items. The carver and assistant were very helpful and pleasant. The food was perfectly cooked with generous portions of meat. This is a place where I would say customers ' views vary widely in some aspects. We can all agree that the service staff are amazingly friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is pleasant, but younger people may feel they 're visiting an older relatives ' professional home, mostly due to the largely indifferent clientele. Food was very complicated in my opinion to score as most of the dishes, especially the deserts, have been a completely vast pleasure to our eyes. I wish my starter was my desert as I personally felt that was my favourite part of the meal. Others felt they preferred their main, but then there was a discussion between normal paying customers and older, which pay less so suppose... Ver carta
