I went for a Christmas meal with friends on December 8th, and it was fantastic! The food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. We never felt rushed and left feeling extremely satisfied. It was excellent value for money. Service: 5, Location: 5.

Superb pub and one of a kind. Exceptional food with locally sourced produce cooked to a high standard with the added ‘wow factor’ so many pubs fail to achieve. A charming village pub/restaurant with a wonderfully inviting atmosphere. The staff were courteous and efficient. We pre-ordered the two-course Christmas menu, which included turkey roast and game pie, followed by Baileys cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding. The quality of the food and service was impeccable. This is an absolutely fantastic restaurant and sandwich shop. The staff is friendly and the service is outstanding. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the food is exceptional. We enjoyed a lovely Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. For my main course, I had the house burger, and for dessert, I had homemade sorbet—both were to die for! I highly recommend this place and will definitely return!

About thirty minutes later, a lovely waitress brought out a beautiful sharing platter that was more than enough for all ten of us. This truly enhanced our evening, and we want to express our gratitude to the staff for their hard work and dedication on such a lively night. After reading various reviews, it seems the staff deserves much more recognition for their efforts. They were always friendly and maintained a warm and inviting atmosphere.
