Came here for dinner. The fish and chips was huge and very tasty. Nice service by young staff. Recommended.

The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere and a nice appearance. The menu offered a good selection for vegetarians. I ordered the 'Butternut squash, turnip celeriac wellington, sauté potatoes, mushroom sauce' and was surprised at how small the portion was when it arrived. It cost £18, which I felt was not worth it. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Very nice pub in a lovely village. Great selection of drinks and a good menu with food from main meals to sandwiches. We had a few sandwiches and they were really nice, lovely soft bread with plenty of filling. Staff are very friendly. It's a bit of a TARDIS, there are loads of tables inside and a huge conservatory. Lovely rooms sympathetically done in a beautiful town. Staff went above and beyond to ensure that we were looked after. A great breakfast at a local cafe included. The pub has something for everyone restaurant, something more lively or a quiet zone for a cosy catch up. A great stay was had. Food drinks: Great breakfast ! We received a very warm welcome at the restaurant. Despite not having made a reservation and it being close to Christmas, they were very accommodating. We were seated at a lovely table in the conservatory and the waiting staff were polite and efficient. Our main courses were plentiful and hot, followed by equally delicious desserts. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Popped in on the off chance, having not booked and were met with a welcoming smile, as were the doggos. Had a delicious meal and can highly recommend both the sea bass with Bombay potatoes and mango salsa or the Arrancini (mozzarella wrapped in risotto rice) flippin’ gorgeous. Adnams ghost ship was lush and service was with a helpful smile. As and when in Holt, defo worth a visit we’ll be back! Service: 5 Location: 5 Ver carta
