on Friday night I visited my son. as usual we were helped by an excellent English-speaking coworker who was very gracious. the food was beautifully presented and a good value. thank you.

This is the better of the Sushi restaurants in the Dortmund area. Although we did not have a reservation they were very accommodating. The sushi was very good and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Get to know the Japanese way of eating and drinking in this restaurant. All dishes are wonderful and handmade to your order. Not really cheap but very tasty. Enjoy a special day here and you won't regret.

I’m going very often to sushi restaurants. It’s not easy to find a good one sometimes you’re happy if you find the standard one. Kyoto is one of the very good. 30 50€ per person I think is ok for good quality. The...only bad thing in this restaurant is that the service is slowly. Could be that you are waiting too long for your orders.

Being very often in Dortmund I came here for the first time. The restaurant is spacious and the staff friendly. Food sushi as a starter and grilled tuna as main was very good. Portions were very big, especially the tuna. Nice restaurant! (the...only negative remark I can make, it was sometimes waiting before getting the attention of the staff)

yesterday we came to eat there without making a reservation. the staff and the waitress were very friendly and served us quickly. there was no long waiting period after the order, our eating and drinks came immediately. the food was nice. The restaurant itself looked a little old and missed a nice atmosphere ~ the restaurant eating overall was beautiful, but not really special. good for a nice fast stop to eat.

I was in Dortmund for a few months for work. The first high rated (on Yelp) sushi place I tried hardly had any fish in their sushi I had almost all but given up on having sushi while living in this lovely city. I was...skeptical when a coworker recommended this restaurant but boyyyyy was I glad I tried it! Some of the BEST sashimi I've had (and I'm used to the amazing sashimi places in Los Angeles). The variety plate with multiple types of sashimi was my favorite! Highly recommended. I think I started going once a week for the last few months I lived in town!!

Honestly terrible. I don't know what to say. the sushi was not good. it was not fresh, fish was dry, sushi was not good. they asked us for our opinion, we gave it. the cook came screaming in German, refused to speak English and then they gave us a bill that we did not demand. was also super expensive for what the price / quality got. the waitress was nice. but I don't know what 20 years experience the cook had eating was not good. that is all. and if you want to know the feedback, ask them. if they come screaming, do not ask how that was eating if they can not take feedback. mark 0 of 5. I have read some recommendations and for the first time I was not happy with the choice I met. only one sushi master means waiting more than an hour. kellner doesn't speak English, but he was kind. the design of the beer warsteiner was without gas. my main course was sushi and it was not good, first tempura garnel were cold not freshly roasted. sushi maki pretty small, price higher than sushi. a sushi I chose was not what I have, I have never eaten sushi special with fried salmon skin! Sushi Special may vary one type is quite large other small as maki. I do not really recommend the restaurant. good rule is to follow when in a city there is only a sushi restaurant, perhaps it will not be as g...
