Not like it used to be. The standard of the food is now dreadful. The meat was burnt and overcooked. The vegetables were fresh even though they were overcooked. The service was good. The parking has always been awkward. It’s a shame but due to burnt hard meat will not return.

He estado varias veces y la comida siempre es excelente y ofrece un buen valor por el dinero. Desafortunadamente, el servicio es muy variable; a veces aceptable, a veces seriamente deficiente. En esta ocasión, todos parecían muy tristes, no hubo ni una sonrisa ni saludo a la vista. Ver carta

First time back at this restaurant to covid and delighted to say very little has changed.The staff are friendly remember you and cannot do enough to ensure you evening goes well.We had our favorite go-to menu items the duck and the chocolate pudding.just devine .if you are in the area you MUST visit

Una comida fantástica, tanto el rib eye como el filete estaban deliciosos. No pedimos entradas, pero nos trajeron pan, aceitunas y gazpacho a la mesa. El personal era amigable y sin duda el mejor lugar donde comimos en las últimas dos semanas por la hospitalidad y servicio. Llegamos tarde para salir, así que las fotos nos muestran como los últimos en el lugar con mesas vacías, pero tenía una buena atmósfera y una iluminación acogedora, se sentía cálido y acogedor afuera.

Era un sábado por la noche y el restaurante estaba lleno. Cuando sales a cenar un sábado por la noche en esta zona, sabes que el restaurante estará lleno y el servicio no será como quizás sea durante la semana. Los camareros nos dieron una bebida de cortesía a nuestra llegada y algunos aperitivos muy agradables mientras esperábamos. La comida era excelente y es un lugar muy agradable. Food was as good as it always is, however the service was poor. The waiters didn’t seem to want to be there. They rushed each part of our meal, they added a steak on to the bill , I knocked an espresso over and they were reluctant to replace even though the meal was upwards of 260 euros for 5 of us!! Felt very rushed and was perched on a corner of the road not in the main terrace, we we positioned below trees where lots of birds are in the trees which obviously means they can deposit over the top of where your eating, fortunately this didn’t happen but the whole experience was not worth the money we paid and was disappointing overall. We went to the restaurant with our friends as part of our last evening in Estepona When we arrived the setting was very pleasant and the waiter came over and we ordered. We only ordered three starters to share between the four adults and these came within a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, That was when disaster struck, as we waited a further hour and- a half for our eight Maine courses that had not arrived. The waiter who was also the manager told us to wait for 5 minutes. Once the time passed he told us another 15 minutes. By 11pm and after multiple times of asking for our food it finally arrived. This was our first visit to Ramos which used to be one of our favourite restaurants since it reopened after the death of the original owner. Such a huge disappointment. They have squeezed in more tables outside, which means that several are on the pavement of the side street. On a breezy evening that's not viable, because the wind blows the table cloth and everything on it) all over the place and it is not a pleasant environment. The waiting staff, particularly the head waiter, were unfriendly and unwelcoming almost to the point of being rude. Only the waitress was polite and friendly.
