"Even after pre-warning of a gluten free requirement, all they could offer was vegan tofu! Tuna starter taste was overwhelmed by capers. Mackerel main course alternative with tiny potato decoration was too strong with no accompaniment for balance. The only good thing was gf pudding rhubarb and raspberries but my fellow diners had three chewy and tasteless choux balls. Wine prices unrealistically high. Staff overly attentive but lacked finesse, plates cleared before all had finished. Very unimaginative and poor value for money."
