"Visited for lunch with family. Restaurant very quiet at weekday lunch time, service very relaxed, did not bring all dishes at the same time! Had the donkey stew with polenta and fettuccini with bolognese. Both tasty, though the stew was a little salty."

Nice calm restaurant with versatile menu. Both meals were good but there was something particularly good in the pizza even though just a simply Margarita with ham...! And this was not our first pizza in Italy

This is a decent place to taste local Veneto dishes like musso (mule) and polenta. Good size portions, not too expensive. Other dishes were ok but mine was very salty. Meringata (the pudding) was delicious...

"I learned about this location from my (now Italian husband's family, who are from a small town nearby. They had attended another family member's wedding here and raved about the view, food and service. It turned out to be the perfect venue for our wedding. Davide, the manager, is incredibly professional and responsive (especially via phone and internet as we were planning our wedding from the U.S. . Everything turned out better than myself and my husband expected both the American and Italian guests raved about the food (incredible appetizer buffet, delicious cuts of meat, incredible presentation of desserts, etc. . We also ate here for lunch several times before and after the wedding and were incredibly pleased with the flavor and quality of the food. Arqua' Petrarca named for Francesco Petrarca, a renaissance poet who wrote often about love and romance and this area definitely lives up to it's name (it was named one of the 100 most beautiful areas in Italy . Nestled amongst rolling hills lined with vineyards, the Canzoniere offers beautiful views and an amazing outdoor terrace space where we had our appetizers, desserts and dancing. Conveniently, there is also an attached hotel, Villa del Poeta, where our guests stayed for 3 days. We were able to work with Davide and local businesses to coordinate a vineyard tour, a trip to the Terme (hot springs , and a delicious pizza rehearsal dinner. I would highly recommend this area and restaurant to anyone looking to plan a wedding or just planning a romantic trip to a place that is not yet overcrowded by tourists in Italy."
