"I have been studying in Rome for a year and eating in La Cucina Nazionale was some of the best service I received in Italy! Pietro – my waiter was amazing. I can't stress that enough. He was both very funny and polite as well as attentive and extremely knowledgeable in terms of the menu. My Italian is not the best and Pietro caught and helped me and was very friendly and understanding! I ordered a special pizza and it was all. Top 5 in Rome undoubtedly. If you speak English and not much Italian and look for a great lunch or dinner, this is the place! Thanks for such a great experience La Cucina Nazionale and Pietro!"

A wonderful restaurant. It's right by our hotel and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. Staff speaks Italian and English. Good variety of food too. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Ask for Hossain, a really cool...dude and very funny.

I really love this restaurant because it's so quaint and right on Nazionale, a major street. I absolutely LOVE their spinach ricotta ravioli as well as their tiramisu. The prices are really affordable and staff is always so nice and upbeat. Definitely recommend this...place, especially for families. Oh, also ask for Hossain super funny, always smiling and helpful with whatever we need. Love this place
