"I am reluctant to give a 5 star review which I would have given, had their food standards been consistent, but since their most recent pizza, I cannot praise them too highly. As seen in the 1st most blurry picture (please excuse my old phone’s quality the pizza was of excellent standard; thin and crisp base, fresh sugo, tasty mozzarella, decent crusts. Moving onto my most recent visit (when the 3 other pics were taken , the pizza was simply a disappointment. I could guess the mushrooms were tinned (could be wrong, but looking at the picture you may make up your own mind , the pizza was slightly undercooked, and overall didn’t taste anywhere near as good as it did during our first few visits during 2021. The tiramisù and bruschetta have been consistent, surprisingly enough, though the bruschetta’s portion size after 2021 has been reduced… We have not visited again since the quality of pizza stooped so low, but we do hope this was a one off, and we got unlucky that day. If the quality nowadays is similar to when we visited a couple years ago, I’d highly recommend! However I do have my reservations given our most recent visit. If you do decide to visit, best of luck and I hope you don’t receive the same pizza standard as we did recently (around March 2023 . I have only knocked 1 star off a 5 star review purely for the recent pizza ‘quality’, if I were to return and receive the same bad pizza I’d have to give 1 or 2 stars unfortunately, as that standard of pizza for a supposedly authentic and quality Italian restaurant is unacceptable. Something extra to be noted: they do offer a reasonably priced set lunch deal (and possibly dinner if I remember correctly… which has a great selection of meals to choose from! :"

Went for dinner before show at the Armadillo. Enjoyed the food. The lasagne was excellent. Great service.

Saturday lunchtime. Two courses for 13.50 and fantastic food. Lasagne is great as was calamari. My wife’s pasta was so good she was disappointed she could not finish it as the portion was generous.

This is still one of the best italian resteraunts in Scotland and I have eaten at a lot of them. This place cares a lot about the food and its customers. They really love what they do and it shows in the quality of the food. Like so many others have said....enjoy

Me and my husband while on holiday in glasgow we decided to visit la fiorentina after reading so many good reviews. What a beautiful experience from start to finish, service was first class and the food to die for. Our waitress valentina was just amazing, thank you guys for the lovely night.

The food here is good, our group got a variety of different meal types and all were happy. The best part of the restaurant was the staff though who all went above and beyond to entertain our one year old who had a great time. The blonde lady with tattoos on her hands deserves a special shout out (sorry didnt catch your name) with how she interacted with the table.

The glass of wine was so-so. The mushroom appetizer was excellent. We both had the lasagna. Being from the USA, it tasted more like an Italian version of a “Shepard a pie with noodles” than the normal lasagna like at home or like in Italy. The sauce was a brown sauce instead of red- but it was pretty good, and had a unique character to the place with a very local neighborhood vibe.
