"The restaurant could be a good restaurant but there are some things that need to be worked out. I made reservations for 6 people (including 2 children) for 17:30 on a Saturday. I was really excited b c of the reviews I've seen. The bad: Operationally, the meal went terribly. Food took too long to arrive and when it did arrive, it was over-cooked. For example, I put in the kid's food order right away b c I knew they were hungry. I ordered a kid's burger and a couple of sides. Burger came out in a reasonable amount of time. Sides came out ~30 minutes after the burger was finished. Oma and Opa ordered burgers. My wife and I ordered a tuna steak and entrecote. We waited over an hour for that food to arrive. Oma's burger was cold upon arrival. As indicated earlier, the tuna steak was way over-done and my steak was also overdone. The coordination of hot food arriving at the same time needs to be worked out. Honestly, as a father of two young children, I wouldn't have cared if the food came out at different times. Just not cold overcooked... I'd also say their wine selection (at a steakhouse) could be better. The good: The salmon tartar was delicious. The carrot and rosemary potato sides were tasty too. Solid steak and fish selection for you to choose from. Our server was kind and there were plenty of servers. I asked to speak with the manager and he was understanding as well. I'd be willing to try this place again if we're ever in the area but it's got to work out some operational items"

"Die Bedienung ist bemüht gewesen das Ambiente an sich war in Ordnung. Lediglich die Qualität des Küchenpersonals lässt zu wünschen übrig. Erst war die Kalbsleder verbrannt und trocken und beim zweiten Versuch badete sie übertrieben in einer Balsamicosouce, die ich bei Leber "venezianische Art" nicht erwarten würde. Im Grossen und ganzen ist das Essen ok, allerdings fehlt es nicht nur an an Kleinigkeiten sondern auch an elementaren Dingen wie gutem Öl auf dem Tisch vernünftigem Brot etc, um ein la dolce vita zu erzeugen. Schade."

"We traveled to Rheine with colleagues recently and before we left the city and drive back to Dusseldorf, we had the chance to stop by Beesten and enjoyed one of the nicest lunch I have had for a long time.The building itself has nothing much to be talked about and it is quite close to the train line which means that during the lunch, the occasional train full of Audi cars makes its way to the harbor. Past this small disturbance, I cannot recommend Beesten enough.Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner I guess and they were prompt to show us to the table. The menu itself is plentiful and the young lady who was looking after our table was very professional. i ordered the fish soup, duck breast and dessert. All very good. Our host recommended the entrecote which looked also very nice. All in all, a very pleasant lunch in a pleasant environment. I will definitely go back whenever I have the chance to travel back to Rheine!"

"Hier voor de eerste keer gegeten en het was een uiterst plezierige ervaring.Het restaurant ziet er gezellig uit, modern, comfortabel meubilair. Wij waren er op een woensdagavond en het was rustig. UIt andere beoordelingen begrijp ik dat je in het weekend beter kunt reserveren, en, dat kan ik me voorstellen.De kaart is uitgebreid met vele soorten pizza's, diverse pasta's, vlees- en visgerechten.. Het eten dat wij hadden besteld was werkelijk voortreffelijk. Niets op aan te merken, behalve dat het heerlijk smaakte.De bediening was vlot en vriendelijk.Parkeren kan men aan de straat, maar is 's middags niet gratis. Na 18.00 uur wel.De prijs / prestatie verhouding is wat ons betreft heel goed. Kortom, voor ons een nieuwe ontdekking en daar gaan we beslist vaker eten."

"The best Sarde (Italian) in the Rhine and the surrounding area!! Eat excellent, tasteful and qualitative. And the most beautiful one is treated as if one belongs to the family to this great atmosphere and very warm team. Everything can be recommended and has never been disappointed. You have to look for a long time to find a restaurant that is guided with so much love and passion and the level has always been trying to increase for years. We always come and enjoy every moment!"
