"Very near our hotel and with the good reviews an easy choice. Was a bit worried without a reservation on a Friday, but it wasn't full.On tripadvisor it wasn't clear that this was Algerian, but the cuisine is very focused on couscous, (lamb) brochettes and tagines. My lamb brochette undercooked and medium rare at best, but my wife's tagine was the best she ever had. The kids were less impressed but that is on them. At least they liked the chicken and the ice cream. The service in the restaurant is very good, and I am glad we tried this."

You can find arab food and it's correct. Normally rations are very big, so be careful and probably you have to share.

Lovely restaurant with great atmosphere, We had lamb kebabs and couscous - the lamb was wonderfully seasoned. Also had huge bowl of chicken vegetable soup, also very good. Wine was good as well.

Delighted with this discovery down a side street close to our hotel. Every dish tasted lovely, with some new and delightful tastes. Service was very good. We had the house rose wine ... and ordered more because it was so easy to drink. Ver carta

This is a highly rated Moroccan restaurant that is perhaps a bit overrated. The food is tasty but average and the service is the same. Likewise, the wine was average and came to the table already opened. We came hungry and left full, but there is nothing that was remarkable nor memorable about this establishment.

The restaurant was full of single women but we had delicious couscous in a relaxed atmosphere. It was just good basic well cooked and not particularly expensive tradional couscous.I'll be going back there. Since ther seem to be a shortage of reasonably priced places in this city which is a mystery to me. But highly recommended

Second visit at La Medina and again, they have delivered an absolutely delicious meal! The Moroccan atmosphere is well reproduced and the smell of spices excites your taste bud as soon as you enter the restaurant where you are greeted by friendly and customer focused staff.Great experience. I will be definitely visiting again!! Ver carta

I cannot understand some of the previous comments, since the food is very authentic Moroccan and more importantly well prepared and tasty. Service with a smile and reasonable prices. We were fortunate to get a table and the restaurant remained full until late evening. Therefore booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. We will certainly visit again.

The restaurant is located in a side street of the big pedestrian boulevard where tons of restaurants are. When we arrived the restaurant was quite empty but we also were recommended by a local to eat the restaurant. We ordered both Taijine (Seafood and chicken). Both were served with the pot and have been excellent. Service was very niche and helpful. The restaurtant also has a small terrace in the backyard of the building.

"After a very positive first experience, we decided to renew. we enjoyed traditional fries, excellent (and copied) burgers and very good pastries after a reasonable expectation (1/4 h) being given the quality of the products, all for a very good value for money. What a disappointment during our 2nd visit! we waited 1/2h (more than in a classic restaurant, it's still a fast food). while a tabloid of about 10 other people, who arrived after us, were served before us almost without waiting. I was kind of worried about the hostess who tried to explain to me that it was due to the preparation of my wife’s day dish: a pike! being the exclusive user of barbecue and plancha at home, she should have refrained from using such a rude excuse. It was more simply a privileged habit that we do not wait...During this time, our meat had to wait (also...) on a corner of the grill since it was archi too cooked and then, not good. (Sauce was painfully masking the taste of burnt). Traditional fries have left room for classic industrials. The pie was missing freshness. Only the cheese cake was correct. We do not understand such a change in such a short time, especially when reading the Director's answers to certain negative opinions. but perhaps is he on leave? (when the cat is not there...). One last thing: the breathable hood must work very badly, you take the graillon out and go back to work in the afternoon, it's not great... we won't come back."
