"Despite wanting to take it slow for once on our holiday, my girlfriend and I by far exceeded the 10.000 steps on one day so we were tired again. And, with the rain, we were cold too. The first restaurant we tried didn 't take...non reservations for an hour, so we decided to walk along. 'Huh, maybe this will do ', I said to my girlfriend, not really expecting anything. And boy were we LUCKY the other restaurant didn 't take us in. La Osteria is comfy, cozy, warm. I gasped for breath when I saw the homemade lemonade: 0,5 litre for only 4,90, as my girlfriend said: 'This is the type of lemonade I really would like to make myself '. Sweet but not too sweet, ice but not too much ice really good. And then came the 40 centimeter pizza, both of us the vegetarian with spinach, egg and garlic oil, and for myself an extra paprika. After a negative experience with a pizza in Berlin (you can never eat too much pizza). THIS is the pizza that makes you feel happy. I didn 't expect spinach and egg to be nice on a pizza it was the only veggie option I liked but it was perfect. The garlic oil was a perfect extra touch. For dessert, I had a hot (white) chocolate with a touch of espresso. Again: it was lovely. A slight point of criticism: the waiters all wear white shirts that are a bit dirty, shabby. The food and the atmosphere deserve something more chique. But hey, everyone was really kind and that 's the most important. 5/5 by far!"

We stopped for lunch. Great pizza, very good dough. Pizzas are 40 cm in real : . Two pizza for 2 adult and teen was enough. Outdoor space is perfect for relax and nice meal.

Pizzas are HUGE. Come hungry. I did and I left quite satisfied with my meal. I think the closest US equivalent would be Pizzeria Regina from Boston’s North End. That’s high praise.

We went to this restaurant to try their pizza. They have a very good pizza but is not a 000 flour. They have everything to make it the best if they use the 000 flour. Our waiter was always aware of our needs and we...felt very welcomed in the restaurant. We made our reservation the same day without a problem.

Very tasteful food. Ordered pizza and homemade lemonade and it was the best comfort food we could get after a cold, rainy and windy day in Dresden. The pizza we had was richly poured with garlic oil wich was amazing on the pizza. The homemade...lemonade was so good, one of the best I've had, and the atmosphere was good too. Nice staff who speak proper English. Ver carta

We had dinner here recently and very much enjoyed it. We were not sure what one ingredient was (rocket and asked the waiter. He was funny as he kept saying it is rocket, that is English, and we should know (but not in a rude...or mean way . He finally got some arugula and put it on a plate and brought it to us and said rocket . So at least we knew what it was: We shared a pizza and it was very good. Service was good as well.

We decided to have dinner at La Osteria since it has excellent reviews. We started by ordering two antipasti bruschetta and crostino pepperoni and then a capricciosa and a quattro stagioni pizzas (40cm). The portions were very generous and everything was delicious. The...waiters were very attentive and the kitchen staff seemed very happy singing and dancing while cooking. :D The atmosphere was great! Highly recommend this place! Ver carta

fortunately we had booked a table earlier in the day, as it was really busy when we got there. Service was a bit slow initially took a bit of time to get drinks and order. I had a pasta dish which was very good,...and husband had noodles with prawns, which turned out to be made with courgette spaghetti. a surprise but very nice. we also had a lovely ice cream/sorbet dessert of different fruits. Really great buzzy place. if we'd had the time, we'd have gone back for a pizza as they were enormous and looked fantastic.

"Quite disappointed. The prices and past reviews made me believe this was going to be a fine dining experience to remember. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Atmosphere upon entry was awkward, with several waiters and waitresses (including the apparant hostess) passing us by multiple times before we were greeted and seated. After waiting 20 minutes to order our entry drinks we ordered a 4 course surprise menu containing meat and fish respectively, including a wine pairing menu. We were quite curious to see what variety of meats and fish choices the kitchen would come up with in their simplest of surprise menu's. Imagine our surprise when the first course was vegetarian! Don't get me wrong, I definitely enjoy vegetarian meals, but thats everything we didnt order.. The second course, a clear beef soup, was very standard and boring. And I must admit the main course iberico ham with a good pairing red wine was ok. My partners fish main course (the only one of 3, after ordering for a 3 course fish surprise menu) wasnt interesting at all, and had a weird wine choice. Sadly the last course was again mediocre as the full sweet dessert wine overruled the sort of sweet dessert. After the second course the staff stopped asking how the food was, as if they knew it wasnt up to Gault Millau standards. Ordering drinks after dessert was only possible by walking up to the bar ourselves, so no thanks. Even the bill we had to go fetch ourselves at the bar. Even here the staff didnt even dare ask how everything was and if we enjoyed our dinner. All in all: a lot of potential but overall disappointing. Would not recommend"
