"We visited the restaurant on the weekend of the Le Toquet beach race which draws thousands to the area in the off season. Luckily we made a reservation or we would have been unlucky as the whole town was buzzing. I felt compelled to write...this review as the service we received was exceptional. Our waitress was the only member front of house all evening dealing with full covers and plenty of walk in customers who she had to disappoint. All managed with a smile and wonderfl manner. The food was great very tasrt and good value too."

Popped in here for an afternoon drink and sat in some stylish comfortable wicker chairs in a sunny sheltered spot. Very generous measures.

Had an omelette here with French fries. My companion had Croque Monsieur.Which was somewhat better than my rather rubbery omelette. You can sit outside or dine in.

we have been using la paloma for years and madam estah is a wonderful host like her personal. whether it is a coffee or a complete meal, the service is excellent. we often sit outside with a glass and watch the world go by....We recommend using this messingerie.

We came here for lunch on 29th May and ordered steak and chips. The steak was disgusting. Chewy and tasteless. I couldn't finish it. Chips not up to much either. The chocolate mousse dessert boring and flavourless. Staff grumpy. I noticed all the other diners were British so the locals obviously know to avoid this place. Overpriced too. Ver carta

Whenever we visit Montreuil, we always visit this Brasserie and we always it an enjoyable experience. The food is excellent, we are made welcome (nothing is too much trouble) and it overlooks the main square. It is a typical brasserie menu, but you don't...always want fine food!! We will be calling again before we leave France this trip.

A delightful restaurant in the wonderful town of Montreuil sur Mer. Both the seafood pizza and the burger with a blue cheese sauce were delicious and the crêpe for dessert was equally as tasty. But most of all it was the fabulous service from the...two female members of staff that stood out! They really made us feel welcome. Merci beaucoup!

Service reminiscent of Fawlty Towers Ina bad day. At best. Fixed price menu was ok, pizza poor and service - 1 of our 3 waitresses was polite. One knocked over a drink, half mopped up with our napkin and left dripping all over the floor. When asked for a replacement we got it, then they refused to remove from the bill saying there wasn't much left in the glass anyway. Avoid. Ver carta

We came here because our prime choice for the evening had overbooked. The menu was simple, and the portions were generous. I had a steak and my wife had a fish dish. Both were ordinary and unremarkable. The prices were fair. On the downside once again, as with so many French restaurants, the concept of how to make and serve a capuccino was not comprehended. Just serving a black coffee with a dollop of whipped cream on top, is simp;ly not professsional

A fairly random choice, but proved to be a good one. We were made very welcome on the terrace, water was brought for our dog, and we settled down to a really delicious meal. We chose the Fillet Mignon for our main course, it...was the best we have tasted during this French trip. Nothing was too much trouble, and we had a lovely final evening to end our holiday. Extremely good value, efficient, pleasant and friendly service, with excellent food. What more could we want?

"the food was super super good!! i had a grilled beef with green lime as starter and it was the best food i have ever eaten in France i have to say!! of course a visit to a Thai restaurant would not be complete without trying their green curry and it was really good as well. i would be going to this restaurant again and trying other menus..a bit on the pricy side but with the fork/ la fourchette discount, it helps to reduce the price a little bit. really that was really a perfect meal i had a fresh coconut drink from the shell itself, a superbly amazing starter, and a very good chicken green curry for the main. If u go in couple, it would be nice to share, as the portion is quite big, and u can order the beef grilled starter, and 2 main dishes to share, and to be eaten with steamed rice, which is the normal way Asians eat at home! the waitresses don't speak english, that was fine for me as i speak a bit of French. even when they don't speak english, i could tell that they are very friendly, and tried to interact with us as much as possible. I am living in France currently and there is some truth when the general says french waitress are some of the worst u can get with their slow service, but this one was definitely different. . Food came quickly and they seem very nice people. I went with a friend as we had a crave for Thai food and after some research from Trip Advisor, we had some options and Im really glad that we chose this (as it has a discount from La Fourchette which was a very good marketingPLUS point for them! it worked for them at least in our case ;) )all in all, U GUYS HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE."
