Absolute new favourite in Paris! Great food great atmosphere and amazing selection of (pricey) wines! Will definitely return!

The bone for appetizer was a little too fatty. The curry chicken with truffle was delicious, strongly recommended. Stuffed chicken was ok.

One of the best meals of our stay in Paris. A must do if in the area. Braised leg of Lamb, Duck with Potatoes, and quite possibly the best Creme Brûlée I've ever had!

Yes, of course, the check is respectable. But the charm of the respected traditions, in the plate as in the room, it may not have a price. The director holds his role with inspiration and delicacy, making the moment wonderful. Maxime C.

There is nothing truly special about the Poule au Pot but I am quite fond of it. The decor needs a bit of freshening but the service is friendly and the food is respectable. Not a place to go to impress someone else, but definitely a solid neighborhood place worth remembering. Ver carta

We both had the Rump Steak as they had finished the Scallops. Can't complain. My steak (medium) was succulent and tender, the chips fat and crunchy accompanied with a cheese sauce. All very nice but I would have preferred the cheese sauce to be a bit thicker. Lovely Creme brûlée for pudding. A satisfied diner.

By the impressive Esplanade des Invalides and opposite Pont Alexandre III, this is a fairly small and cosy restaurant. Good selection of food, wine and beer at a reasonable price. All the staff are really friendly and helpful, taking pride in their restaurant and the food they serve. Highly recommended. Take a chance and just turn up or to be certain, you will need to book, especially weekends. Great restaurant.

La Poule au Pot is a corner restaurant located in a quiet backwater near Les Invalides.It has a typical bistro decor withzinc bar, red leather banquettes, tiles, panelling, iron peg, chandelier. It offers country cooking with anot too extensive menu. Our dishes were simple not copious but tasty : octopus ceviche, bone marrow, black pudding, bangers and mash, rum cake and key lime pie. In the interesting wine list we chose côte du rhône and jurançon. Service was young and efficient, atmosphere was cozy friendly busy. Great value for money. Ver carta
