"the restaurant has arrived after moving from ludwigshafen in speyer well. that has several (good) reasons: The map is inexpensive for local conditions - at first it was even the "ludwigshafener fußkarten" and the lower level there, which already alone ensured "full house".The preparation especially the pizze is "most Italian" if this linguistic slip is allowed. the floor is pleasantly thin, yet solid, the edge is tasty and the salt content is true. for me pizza must not taste like "German brot". the subject is actually made and the cheese is from the cow and not from the labor. I like to see if the basilikum is not baked and after that a small little good olive oil is to be bought over it.The other dishes I do not know from my own tasting, but they look appealing. I can't say anything about it tastefully. The drink card is very tidy with the Italian weepings, the beer prices are human for speyrer conditions. It's part of the fact that it's incredibly loud inside, because it's always completely occupied locally, especially in the evening. one understands oneself in a foursome only laborious, the sound of the other guests is overwhelming. that makes the stay very unpleasant if you want to go away in the evening.Outside, the cleanly cobbled beer garden under trees is a nice place to sit, but it is radical and rigorously closed after inhabiting complaints by 22.00 clock. in the city is closed at 23.00. this can be annoyed at later appointments. The service is based on master personnel who worked almost completely in ludwigshafen. that's the routine for good. Unfortunately, the additional forces are not comparable, there seems to be a strange division of work between the master and the auxiliary personnel (there is "bringer and clearer" and "order picker and casser"), so that it can hook when reordering, for example."

Unfortunately, I have to revise my previous positive assessments; the reason for this: lack of service.

the small hotel is very cheap to the old town with dom as well as the technical museum. the rooms are not particularly large - this is owed to the building - but completely furnished incl. wlan. the personal is courteous and friendly. the breakfast is in order, especially pleasing for us that there were also spices and meatballs to the rogues. the hotel's parking spaces are a bit away, right at the house there is no parking (inhabitant zone!) Price/performance ratio is absolutely in order.

Unfortunately, the evening was complete to forget... we had, among other things, twice fish... the thunfish was tk and thus not on the point, but rather through and cold. the supplement that we exchanged was booked as complete eating - is ok, but we are not used. the worst was, but when the tinted fish came ... the complete table (always 8 people) smelled the stank (!) of the fish ... when the waiter came, apologized with the answer ... "he lay in the water so long" ok? So the fish was our opinion after spoiled, tilted, old, worse than unfitable ... you could imagine where to have been eaten. Sorry, but no champagne as an apology, full price in the calculation... so for us this was a big fia...

we had reserved for 20 people and discussed before that everyone should receive a glass prosecco as aperitif, with two pizza margherita small cut as appetithäppchen. when all the guests arrived and we signaled that can be started, the prosecco was served individually, so it took forever until we were able to attack all. the pizza bargains came later...The main dishes were of different quality. all ordered bark dishes too much cooked, although explicitly medium had been ordered as a garstuff. the salsa verde listed in the menu was completely missing, only demand was explained that it was out and offered to replace pesto. Two out of our round ate the liver and complained that it was cold.No one...

"Mr The Anh Nguyen, the owner and also the chef of Le Cyclo, interprets a few traditional Vietnamese dishes using seasonal ingredients, fresh herbs, spices and aromatics. All his creations are served with French elegance. We were a big group of 18 people, so we made reservations in advance and requested several traditional Vietnamese dishes not featured on the standard menu. When people think of Vietnamese cuisine, what comes to mind is “Goi Cuôn” - fresh summer rolls that are ubiquitous in Vietnam. So it makes sense that our dinner starts off with them. Another popular appetizer is “Bò lá lôt” - lightly spiced minced beef rolls wrapped with wild betel leaves and grilled to perfection. “Banh khot” are quintessential appetizers - mini pancakes made with rice flour, minced shrimps and spring onions, golden, crispy and savory. “Chao Tôm” is a traditional appetizer where seasoned shrimp paste is moulded around a sugarcane skewer. Our main dishes are typical home-cooked dishes shared family-style, served with white jasmine rice. We had tasty “Bap Cai Cuôn thit ga-tom Hap Nước Mắm Gung”, which was basically steamed chicken-and-prawn roulade in a fresh ginger-Nước Mắm sauce; “Cá Kho Tô” - considered as comfort food by many Vietnamese, the fish develops a sweet-savory gooeyness from the sugar and fish sauce over the course of a long braise; simple but tasty chicken omelette; and “Rau Muong” stir-fried with garlic - a staple green veggie in Vietnam (if Vietnam declared a national vegetable, it’d probably be this).Due to its colorful history marked with several occupations, colonization period and foreign influence, Vietnam is a real melting pot of various culinary traditions. From a complicated Chinese to a delicate Japanese, a bit over-spiced Thai, highly distinctive Cambodian, beautiful Indian and super gastronomic French - we are happy to report our tastebuds went on a delicious culinary adventure to Le Cyclo!"
