"A mixed bag. The room is lovely, located near the highest point in Bonnieux. It had rained earlier in the day, so we weren 't seated on the terrace, which has a great view. The meal was accompanied by a pianist and a trumpeter who played and sang jazz standards. Some people like this sort of ambiance; as a musician and a music historian, I don 't, especially because it is almost impossible for it to transcend the dreadful cliche of supper club jazz. We all ordered the focaccia appetizer with truffles, which was excellent. Both of my dinner companions ordered the pork, which they liked very much. I ordered the grilled sea bass, which was large, tough, and flavorless. One cannot simply throw a fresh fish on a grill and call it a dish. I 'm unclear as to the exact relationship between Le Bergerie and its Michelin-rated parent restaurant across the courtyard, but my meal was simply not worthy of a star."

"Excellent dining in a very beautiful setting the terrace and the room are very pleasant). The menu is varied and the chosen dishes are well presented and delicious. Very good value quality price. I strongly recommend and will not fail to return!"

"St Andre has panoramic views from an upstairs area, but we preferred the easy going feel on the outdoor terrace where Fred, an excellent maitre d' , does his best to provide a relaxing, entertaining and unstuffy atmosphere. In many ways, he is the strength of...this place. Ambre beer on tap too and that can't be guaranteed in Provence. We ate here twice and the night we went a bit more basic and opted for the burger was particularly good."

"I went there late July with my wife an young daughter. The restaurant is located within the premises of the hotel which is superb and the atmosphere can not be faulted. The service was good but somewhat a bit mechanical which is what sometimes you find in those starred restaurants; the sommelier (la sommeliere in fact) was excellent however. The big let down is the food where the complexities and various subtleties in your plate and aside (endless amuse bouches) miss the point of what should be a unique experience and flavorsome food; it ends up feeling very unremarkable. As for the prices, they are eye-watering but at least we will take full responsibility for that as we made the booking fully expecting it. P Calmels"

"Refined cuisine, presentation of very neat dishes, hot breads served in accompaniment. The kitchen is gastronomic, the plates are beautiful and the quantities served are well studied. Menu formula: entry, main dish and dessert for €49,00 excluding drinks. The menu is relatively limited to offer fresh, seasonal and qualitative products. Beautiful wine and champagne map, wide choice of digestives of beautiful invoice. The service is attentive, professional. The restaurant works as a concept store: furniture such as lamps, dishes, paintings, etc., are for sale. Nice address. I put a 4-star because there's a little I don't know what's missing to win the fifth star. I wish I was in the pretty vaulted room rather than stuck between the bar and the reception desk. We would probably have had to ask when booking; We didn't think about it at that moment. Attention to the online reservation system which is visibly at its beginnings and which knows a few bugs."
