"Had thos place recommended by a work colleague. Booked in for tonight at half 6. The menu has a wide range of food to suit all tastes. Very warm welcome and excellent customer service. Now the food well what can I say about it apart from WOW everything cooked to perfection and the presentation was excellent. Will definitely be back to sample more of the menu very soon"

"I have been going to the Whitchaff for as long as I can remember; whether it's for dates, family meals, or catching up with friends. The food is consistently amazing, making it tough to decide what to order each time. Some of our favorites include the steak and Stilton pie, cajun chicken ciabatta, and the cheesy garlic bread. The burgers are huge and the desserts are delicious. The portion sizes are just right, and the prices are reasonable. During busy times, the service can be a bit slow but not to the point where you feel forgotten. This gives you more time to relax and enjoy your company. The staff is lovely and the recent refurbishment adds to the charm of the place. We are not local but we all make the drive to get there. It's recommended to make a reservation, but during nicer weather, you can also dine outside. We are grateful that they survived the challenges of Covid, as it would have been a loss to lose such a great place."

"We have been visiting TVS for 7 years and have noticed some changes that are not for the better. The restaurant used to be vibrant and bustling with great service, fast and friendly staff, and a lively atmosphere. The food has always been decent. However, the new management lacks enthusiasm and does not interact with customers. The staff are pleasant, but two young employees struggle to keep up with a 70% full dining room. The new menu has not changed much, but the food is still good. While the meat on a hot plate is delicious, serving food on a wooden plank feels outdated. We tried to love the place but only recommend it for a quick drink and snack. Perhaps bringing in a trained server or having the management visit a nearby restaurant for inspiration would improve the overall experience."

"I'm always really enjoyed eating at Thai Shack and have for many years but the attitude from staff tonight was horrendous. Booked a table 3 weeks ago, the girl who was asked by another member of staff to process it seemed inexperienced and new and failed to ask for our name and number till I promted her. On arrival today with 2 friends who had traveled some distance to eat with us, we were told they don't take booking as it's foodie Friday and essentially called us liars.. There was no apology and the attitude extremely poor. Such a shame from what previously has been such an enjoyable experience."
