It is an institution among bistros with a short card and delicious dishes, the service is professional and friendly, but it is out of price (at least 40€ the dish, 15€ the glass of wine and 15€ the dessert)

What an experience! On the recommendation of a friend, we went to discover L 'Ami Jean. In the middle of winter, the crowded room is filled with good mood, delicious smells of cuisine, and animation. The menu offers dishes that are all of an extreme quality, we feel that the products have been selected with attention upstream (Terrine house, Duck poitrine, farmer pig quota, etc.). Chef Stéphane and his team lead this establishment with a master's hand. Bravo bravo bravo. In short, I recommend and come back with immense pleasure.

Wow! This was a great find we had saved this for our trip to Paris as the restaurant was featured on an episode of I 'll have what Phil 's having . We came in for lunch (with no reservation and the lovely manager, Amandene, made us feel right at home. She spoke English fluently, recommended all the best dishes to try, and continuously checked in on us all of the employees were incredibly helpful friendly! Our recent visit to this French restaurant was a culinary journey to remember. The menu offered a wide array of French delicacies, and every dish I tried was a revelation of authentic flavors. We started with some cold cuts that were incredibly good you definitely feel the quality here ! For the main course, we tested the « ris de veau » that was really good (it’s wether you like it or not there’s no in between) And a specific « bird » dish for which I forgot the name and it was a masterpiece of flavors, and a luscious wine sauce.
