Delicious food, typical Franconian dishes that are very well prepared. The ambience is a bit pale compared to many other Rothenburg locals. The service is friendly and professional.

A little expensive and the selection is very low. There are about 5 different types of pork roasts, but not really much more. It was good for everyone. The atmosphere is suitable for what is expected in the name of the restaurant. However, the service was very friendly and also nice to my foreign companions, who cannot be as good German. All in all solid 4 stars.

Wie waren dort und haben schweinebraten und rahmbraten gegessen und uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Drr Salat mit dem Dressing war auch sehr lecker. Das Lokal ist einfach und rustikal für u s alles völlig in Ordnung, ansonsten muss man einfach in einem 5 Sterne laden gehen. Die Bedienung war sehr verhalten, könnte etwas lockerer werden, denn so kommt sie wirklich so rüber, als sei sie genervt.wenn man mit ihr sprach, war sie dann auch lieb und lockerer.

Delicious good bourgeois food! We had a cream roast and the Franconian sour roast the plates were a little sweetly dressed, but tastefully the food was great. The supplement salad was also very delicious. The service was friendly, though somewhat stressed. It would be more sensible to use someone behind the counter even more to plan out, then take some time when the restaurant is full. There is the possibility to sit outside.
