Las Iguanas - Menú

I have been to las iguanas york on multiple occasions now and every single time the food is brilliant.

A really great place to hang out and have a few drinks, they had a solid menu with decent prices and a lot of really awesome specials like buy one-get one

A really good place for hanging out and eating Latin, mostly Brazilian food. the tapas are excellent. had the spicy prawns and the dadinhos. Both excellent.

Been before and it was still good but not quite as good. Some of the menu items weren't available so it must have just been a busy weekend. Also some of the tapas dishes were not very hot. We were seated next to a party...

Called in for a birthday meal after spending some of the day in York, we arrived a bit earlier than our booking but the staff were happy to accommodate us. For starters we had the grande nachos with smoked chipotle chicken to share, very enjoyable...

This place has a totally separate gluten free menu with tons of options and when they bring out the food, it has little flags that denote the cooks were aware of your allergy and took special care to make sure your food is all good. And man it was good!!!

Great food and service. Latin American food and drink. Went for dinner on Sunday and was seated right away. Separate gluten free menu and the main menu shows gluten free options. Great margaritas, strong and 2 for the price of 1. The 5 Tapas deal was fantastic and they all tasted great. Nice and spicy which was a nice change from the normal British dinner. Great gluten free options. Ate there 3 times during the week we were there and had a great time always.

My partner and I visited this chain restaurant for the first time during our trip to York. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the vegan options available, and they were happy to assist us. We decided to try the new Fiesta Ensalada, which was delicious. Despite not being able to handle spicy food well, we found the dish to be just the right level of heat. The addition of fresh avocado helped balance out the spicy salsa, and everything else in the salad was delightful. The vegan cheese in the tortilla was also a nice touch.

This is quite a recent addition to York's burgeoning restaurant culture. Most people who know York will remember it previously as where La Tasca used to be round the corner from El Piano. It's absolutely lovely inside with lots of great seating options. We didn't have food on this occasion but I know from visits to the Leeds and Newcastle branches it's decent. Not amazing, but decent. The purpose of this visit was simply to relax with a couple of solid Las Iguanas Caipirinhas. They're always buy one get one free here so yes you'll pay a crazy £8 but you do get 2. I'm not complaining. I'll have to rate it 3 happy cows purely on the basis that we didn't have food.
