Good spanish restaurant in Berlin Mitte, close to Alexanderplatz. Good looking inside, maybe a little touristic but surely worth a try. I liked arroz

We were looking for a nice restaurant with Spanish cuisine and Spanish rustic ambience and found here. It was about a small birthday dinner of our 17 year old granddaughter who is very interested in Spain. It was a complete success and also very tasty. It was all harmonious.

In Las Olas you can't do anything wrong, a good place with proven Spanish cuisine. As always, however, prices are not necessarily to be considered cheap, it is a bit hilarious (i.e. with good utilization it can become a bit loud) and the service sometimes has small weaknesses... But under the line a very good spot, especially for tapas!

We have been a guest at regular intervals for 10 years - the ambience is simply magical - especially in the field of the podium. Unfortunately, the tapas appear to be warmed up in the microwave behind the tapas tear...it was now the second visit where the food was still cold and we had to give it back to warm it up again.. As we just come because of the tapas and these circumstances do not meet our expectations of a fresh kitchen/preparation, the Las Olas no longer falls into our restaurant selection- pity

The Spanish restaurant has only the name of Spanish. The steak was served without any supplement (15,00 Euro). Supplements were to be ordered separately for 5,00 Euro the Patatas Bravas . These are cartoff rock pieces in a special sauce. Yes, surprise... here they are served naked. Without any sauce. They didn't have lovely wines. Do Berlin not like sweet wines? As an appetizer Pimientos del Piquillo . The fact that these are served with thick salt was probably unknown to the cook. For 6,00 euros the ration should be known. Closed. Bad. Here is sold as Spanish, which is only unprofessional.

The Las Olas is rather inconspicuous and not just in the most beautiful corner of Berlin. Even though the interior is clean and tidy, it works a bit old. The atmosphere suffers a little. Therefore, the restaurant is more suitable for informal occasions. Nevertheless, the restaurant is recommended. The service meets a restaurant in a significantly higher price category. In both visits, the wine recommendations as well as the food recommendations were a hit and the staff were very friendly and professional at the same time. The quality of food is high. The tappasbar leaves nothing to be desired. The restaurant has a very good value for money. I always like to come here and recommend the Las Ol...

If you like bland food, you will love it here. If you’ve ever been to Spain and like their spicy flavorful food, you will not like the food. We thought we would start out with a few tapas, then order a bit more food. Unfortunately, we couldn’t even finish the tapas. We ordered the patatas bravas, which traditionally comes with a spicy tomato sauce on top. These had no sauce or spice at all...it was simply fried potatoes with garlic and some of the potatoes were underdone. My husband ordered gambas al ajillo, which is traditionally in a very garlicky chili sauce. His had barely any chili and the prawns were boiled rather than fried with no tails.
