"What a wonderful little gem we found near the foot of the Sacré-Cœur. Family-owed business going back a long time. There were 6 of us and we each thoroughly enjoyed our meals.I had the braised beef- a very substantial chunk and it was delicious. The flavour of the jus was outstanding, along with the other colourful sauces that were beautifully arranged around the plate. My friend had the vegetarian option, goat’s cheese in breadcrumbs with a salad and that too was delicious. Salad that came with it was a little small for a main so she ordered a side of their fried potatoes in garlic…couldn’t get enough of them! So tasty. The Anglo-Irish barman, Craig, could whip up a cocktail to order, off-menu, according to my taste. He was very attentive to our needs, whilst running the bar on his own. We stayed until closing time (2am! As it got quieter, he selected music he thought we would like and we weren’t disappointed…we sang out loud. Such a friendly and warm atmosphere in there. We will definitely return. We went to another restaurant, La Sancerre, the following night it and wasn’t a patch on this and it was much more expensive."

Small bistro serving dishes including fish, seafood, pasta and burgers. Lovely ambience with some old songs playing. Staff are friendly. For dessert, the crème brûlée and the chocolate fondant capped off a nice dinner. Ver carta

Of course you will have the right to the glass offered from the house, a half to 3€, then the false patron in the big belly will ask you to offer him a drink, a jack's to 12€.And by leaving this place you will say thank you for the half that you were offered.

The restaurant used to serve incredibly good pizza, but the management changed a few years ago. The food was normal, but I was ripped off on the bill. I realised after paying and complained to clerk who looked like the shopkeeper and asked for it back, but he tried to play dumb and cover it up. If you want to eat pizza which the restaurant used to serve, or are thinking about going there for the first time, do not go there.
