"Good cooking. The chief/patron is very kind. He compensates the aggressiveness of his wife who has reserved us an execrable welcome. The waitresses seem uneasy and under pressure. Yes, ma'am, we came to auj, a group of 22 people.Madame, I read lower than a person in our group would have broken a store. It's not true, that old store she wanted to go back because we were suffocating heat, was already broken. Then I find that you do not support criticism. Too bad, your customers' remarks must be constructive. You should just stay in the office or in the kitchen if you are not able to be friendly with people who come to spend their money in your establishment..."

"We finally managed to go to this remote restaurant. Parking options are quite limited. Unfortunately there are only seats inside, but the dining room has a lot of interesting things to admire. The menu is clear, but it doesn't make it any easier. All three variants of starter, main course and dessert are temptingly delicious. For €32 you get a lot of enjoyment. The lady of the house spoke French to us more slowly and then occasionally explained more details in English. A great trip."

"What a fabulous place! We visited Le Rebenty for the first time this evening, a warm Wednesday in late August. Had a problem parking on the road adjacent to the restaurant but that was the only hiccup of the evening! The restaurant car park/lay-by was...very small, enough for four or five cars and so we had to park on a grass verge next to the restaurant with a shear drop to one side! Once inside Le Rebenty we were welcomed by warm, friendly staff, all equipped with face masks in line with Covid regulations. The interior of the restaurant was quirky and cosy and, as we were shown to a delightful, well-appointed table for two, we looked forward to a romantic evening. Our waitress promptly took our order for pre-dinner drinks which were delivered expeditiously, together with a tasty, garlicky emulsion and some fresh bread. One of the chefs appeared with a large chalk board detailing the menu choices and he took time to explain, in both French and English, each delectable option. Once we had made our food selections, we relaxed and enjoyed aperos, observing as the restaurant began to fill up with a variety of clientele: locals; tourists; families; couples. Our starters arrived about ten minutes later and both dishes were generous and tasty. We were not disappointed! It wasn’t long before our main courses arrived we both chose ‘The Williams Burg’: a chicken burger with fries. Our food was well-presented (and served with a smile)..... it was all very fresh, hot and just utterly delicious! The white wine chosen paired perfectly with the flavours of the chicken. We were left alone to enjoy the experience just long enough to finish our food, then sit back and relax. Our waitress was attentive but absolutely knew when to leave us be. We had opted for the reasonably-priced three-course menu but now we were both replete!! The dessert selection looked superb but neither of us had capacity! We have had such a lovely, relaxed evening savouring delicious food, in a convivial, safe, comfortable environment. Thank you Le Rebenty. We will definitely return!"

"Our friends and we wanted to sit outside in a beautiful environment and eat good food in a welcoming atmosphere, so we chose Le Bar Central. We always enjoy our time in this restaurant, but it was even better than normal. Our appetizers of salad... of gésiers and salad of roasted goat cheese on whole grain bread were absolutely delicious. The dressing on the salad was amazing and the whole was garnished with roasted pine nuts. Two of us chose the entrecôte that was declared to be cooked for perfection and beautifully seasoned. One had a magret de canard who was a very generous portion and again said to be cooked for perfection. One had Steak Haché, who looked fantastic and was again a big part. All were served with crispy freshly cooked frits and salad. It was all fantastic and none of us had room for dessert, but we saw the most amazing ice cream desserts served and wished we were still hungry. The service was excellent and the team made us very welcome. We were not rushed and despite the fact that other diners were turned away, we never felt we should go. We think it is necessary to make a reservation for lunch in this restaurant as it is an extremely popular place. This is restless as we have four appetizers and four main courses all cooked and presented, four aperitif, wine and beer for 25€ per head in addition to them offer a very attractive performance for our friends dog...so friendly.
