Le Grand Large Ile De Ré

This restaurant is part of a hotel and is situated on a road alongside the beach. Service was a little slow,but we weren’t in a hurry so,to us that did not mattter.Food was delicious,fresh and well presented.

We stayed at the hotel attached to Le Grand Large. Had a meal and several breakfasts there. The Staff, especially the waitress where very helpful. Breakfasts were great. We had a very nice french meal here really enjoyed it

we have been sitting on the afternoon as well as on an evening service. the food is excellent and we would recommend the 3 curs for 28 euro as an incredible price-performance ratio, quantity and quality! the employees are professional, courtesy and their service supplements the. experience

we were here for some nice relaxing nights and went out to eat a few times and the last night we thought we were trying dinner in the hotel restaurant: it was fabulous, sitting on the elevated terrace with views of the beach and the sea, friendly attentive staff. and every cure to die for. it is not cheap, but for Michelin stars like presentation and quality it was worth every euro. we loved it and will be back. While staying at this hotel for one night we chose to eat in its restaurant which had good recommendations here. Arriving as the first guests just after its opening time of 7pm we were seated in the outside tent. A bit of a surprise with...outside temperatures of 16 degrees and a light breeze. I went back to the room to get warmer clothing. We went for the 3 course menu. Food is THE reason that you need to choose this restaurant. It is very good! However, don't come here when the temperature is below 20. It is not comfortable eating while being cold. Some guests even had their coat on. The speed of serving the dishes is too high, there is hardly 5 minutes between them. After the main course...

Pleasant hotel, but what a restaurant! Merchandise fraud. We start with a cocktail, my Hibiscus with champagne is served to me instead of champagne with muscat, no bubbles and a taste of muscadet. The starter dish of blue lobster ravioli, hold the flesh of this dear lobster, is salmon pink with a salmon texture. Continuation with the fish of the day, the turbo that we are served like swordfish, apologizing for this. But it is indeed fleshed swordfish like swordfish and not turbo.
