"My dinner was a pasta with prawns serving. The pasta seemed fresh, and there was lots of it. The prawns were also plentiful, and they were plump, juicy, and very tasty. Add a glass of wine and a great view of the Ampitheatre, and you've got a very nice end-of-day meal. Service was friendly and fast, and the price was quite reasonable. Just around the corner from Le Calendal, it is easy to find and worth your time."

just above the arenas the grill doesn't pay for a mine, you eat it at a reasonable price. Nice service.

Charming restaurant overlooking the Roman arena in old town Arles. Served by 'le patron ' the menu is simple, varied and affordable. And the beer refreshingly chilled!

The restaurant is situated opposite the arena. We had a crepe with ham, cheese and mushrooms and a side salad, which was enormous!! The service was prompt and courteous.

We sat outside next to the Amphitheatre. The service was excellent and the food came very quickly and was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend for a simple, unfussy meal in a lovely location.

The restaurant nearly touches the Arena. You have a nice view from the terrace. I had a good dinner with 'salade camarquaise ' and 'a steak of a bull '. But the menu has good alternatives. It is for sure the atmosphere that gives you the feeling of being in Arles.

The service is reactive no waiting. Nice and polite servers. the vegetarian burger is not good. it contains neither tomato nor onions nor salad but a potato galette completely masked by a kind of brown peppers or roasted mushrooms for a vegetarian one would have been said a well-fat (not healthy) burger otherwise fries were not bad

"This restaurant is part of a hotel in a very impressive 16th century building. It looks very classy. However, the night we were there, there must have been some serious problems in the kitchen (or maybe it is always like that . We started with a shared plate of charcuterie which took a long time to arrive – how long does it take to arrange the cold meats on a plate? We then waited a very, very long time for our main courses. While waiting, we saw a dispute at another table involving the maître d’ and resulting in plates going back to the kitchen. We had both ordered duck à l’orange which came with Camargue rice. The rice appeared to have been baked in the oven and was so crisp and dry that it resembled a cereal bar. The ‘orange’ was not the usual sauce, but instead was four cubes of orange that appeared to have been scorched on a grill. They added nothing to the dish. It had been suggested that we should share a side of seasonal vegetables. These turned out to be big chunks of boiled potatoes (with rice! , a boiled root vegetable and a couple of dry artichokes. We had interchanges with two servers and the maître d – all were cold and brusque. We lived in France for more than 20 years and appreciate the fact that the French like to take their time with meals, but there is a big difference between leisurely and glacially slow. Perhaps we were there on a bad night, others seem to have had a better experience."
