Le Jardin - Carta

Really pretty courtyard lovely and cool with lovely food. Friendly staff. Decent portions and well priced wine. Would definitely return. The menu above ours (think about 27€) had very nice items too such as tuna and sea bass.

We ate here a couple of times in the evening. The main eating area is in the garden and was very spacious and comfortable. The Magret de Canard was very good and came with superb fries and a very fresh salad. Good wine list and deserts were heaven.

My husband and I had a delightful meal here one evening whilst holidaying in Carcassonne. The food was tasty and portions enormous, making it very good value. A pleasant atmosphere in a lovely setting. My only complaint is that I had no room for dessert! I can heartily recommend the cassoulet. Ver carta

We are here before a concert in the old city of Carcassone. It's a really lovely setting which takes you off the heavily trodden and very touristy streets. The tuna steak was delicious and perfectly cooked as were the accompaniments. And not over-priced given the location and quality of the food.

Within the city walls of Carcasonne this restaurant is a pleasant escape from the hustle & bustle of all the tourists. The staff spoke English but tried to put up with our French. They were superb. Lovely garden area. Although cassoulet is not necessarily one of our favorites (hard to eat when it's 90 degrees) it was prepared & presented well as were the other dishes. Prices were reasonable.

This restaurant offers a beautiful and quiet garden right next to the Basilica. Both dinner menues for 16 or 27€ are very attractive 3 course meals with a choice of 3-4 different dishes each. You can choose between regional dishes, fish and meat. We 4 had almost every variation on the table and enjoyed all ! Our group enjoyed an excellent meal here to celebrate my 50th birthday recently. It's a great outdoor setting in the shade of a huge tree. The food was superb, very reasonably priced and the service was first class - really friendly, smiling, helpful people who chatted with us and joined in the laughter. I would thoroughly recommend Le Jardin and my thanks to the staff for making it such a memorable night.

We came across this lovely restaurant with its shaded outdoor dining area entirely by accident as it wasn't on my short list. It is now top of the list! The front of house welcome was warm and friendly and all the waiting staff the same. We choose from the very good value 27 Euro menu and were delighted by the presentation and quality of the food. The wine list offered something for all budgets. A wonderful find.

We arrived at this beautiful garden restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of the center (it was August) ready for a refined evening meal in this delightful setting.Before ordering we had the bad surprise that they were playing music more appropriate for a disco than such a refined place. The waiters who were all young didn't seem to understand that this music is not adapted to the situation and refused to even turn it down replying in a mocking manner that it helped digestion.We left immediately. If you want a refined and tranquil evening meal do not be lured by the beautiful gardens avoid this place. Ver carta
