Fabulous €23 menu (four courses) with a bottle of local rose wine at €14. We ate in the garden which was lovely. Attentive staff.

Had an amazing 4 course meal with my parents. The garden is nice and our table was in the shade. Very pleasant waitress and extremely reasonable prices for the quality of the food served. I highly recommend the Golden Lion! Ver carta

in the family, everyone was able to find his happiness in the diversity of the map and menus. the frame is very pleasant (notably the terrace.) the staff is pleasant and attentive. On the plate side, it’s simply copied and excellent. and the wine map is also very varied. a very good address

we stayed one night in this charming hotel with a very pleasant terrace. the spacious room clean and very quiet. the air-conditioned room that requires more. perfect breakfast buffet sweet salt. and evening meal gastro but in quantity and especially in quality. impeccable service. waitresses and very friendly boss. very reasonable price. Pour avoir gardé un excellent souvenir d'un déjeuner en terrasse en juin il y a quelques années, nous avions réservé ici en ce dimanche de Paques. Le personnel nombreux est efficace aimable et attentif. Le menu a 39e fut excellent et généreux. Nous avons opte, en entrée pour le foie gras et les ris de veau, pour le plat le thon rouge et les st jacques et enfin la fouace facon pain perdu et le chocolat. Ce n est pas compliqué c etait extra en tout point, beaucoup d établissements devraient s en inspirer. Nous reviendrons !

I have never stayed in the Hotel only eaten in their restaurant, which I have to say is splendid. A Parisian friend of mine who ate there said it was trying to be to fancy for a local restaurant but I disagree. I've been eating here for ten years and the food has always been freshly cooked and theirs always plenty of choice on the menu. It serves up local dishes like Aligot and sausage but also has a fine a la carte menu. The plat du jour price is around 13 Euro for a three course meal with a carafe of wine or you can have the à la carte which also served in the evening. The staff are friendly and very efficient at their jobs. Definitely a place to put on your eating out list if your ever in...

I have several times noticed the Lion d’Or when walking around the pretty little town of St Geniez d’Olt and thought it looked attractive and a nice place to lunch so this time I tried it. On a very hot day we ate outside the terrace, a nice area immediately outside the large smart but on this occasion empty dining room. It was pleasant, shady and comfortable They had a series of menus from the menu de jour at €16 to a menu gourmand at €36. We had a midpriced one. The description of each dish in the menu was flowery and a little overblown, and when they came they looked very elegant.
