amazing food, really nice and clean rooms with a great country atmosphere. the wine you taste can also be bought for a very affordable price. a must for our family to go back to every year. they are also super nice and friendly with families with kids. ps: I am Italian!!

We came here for a weekend away in Piedmont. The location is beautiful and the rooms are simple but charming and clean. We had dinner each day at this place and we just loved it. It was the truffle season and we really enjoyed it. Menus are changing every day and very local. We will certainly return during our next visit to the region.

We visited this agriturismo several for lunch, dinner, celebration etc. The food was always excellent since the menu was tailored to season and made with local, fresh ingredients. Wine selection s good but I prefer their local Favorita which might sound strange considering that this area is well know for their reds: . The owner and the staff was always friendly and supportive. I had an extended Xmas lunch with my office team on 15 Dec. all items ordered were made from fresh local produce and wonderfully delicious. The veal was local and the risotto with meat was divine. We also had a dolce platter which was very good. In addition to this there was excellent service, generous portion sizes and a lovely environment. Pricing was very reasonable. Grazie mille!

The location is very nice and peaceful. We were there during fall season and it was really charming. Few tables and few dishes on the menu but everything was delicious and home-made style. House Wine was ok although not excellent. The service was fine and fast. The price was really fair and cheap compared to the meals we ordered. The only thing I did not appreciate was the (adorable) 6 years old kid playing throughout the tables all the time and following her mother back and forth from the kitchen until late at night. Young kids should be sleeping...

The rooms are sober and simple but very clean and comfortable. Disadvantage is that the rooms are very loud : you hear your neighbours in their rooms and bathroom, you even hear the kitchen working, any movement in the hallway, it's not very quiet. The staff speaks only Italian, only one young man spoke some English. It was a good price vs quality considering the food and wine, the staff was friendly. Would have enjoyed more vegetables though, that was scarce. The only negative comes from a group of extremely loud, rude and inconsiderate Italians with kids literally screaming non stop all over the place and even at 23h in the bedroom hallways, in the restaurant at breakfast etc. Not much sle... We were looking for a decent restaurant while driving around which isn 't easy when your out in the countryside. I was starting to get nervous as the kids became hungry when we suddenly saw the sign Le Querce Agriturismo in Canale. The nervousness increased as we drive along tiny agricultural roads until a beautiful Piemontese ranch opened up in front of us. The place is a boutique hotel which clearly doesn 't get a lot of drive in clients. We asked whether we could have a table to eat, a question for which the patron had to be sought out. Ci siamo fermati all’agriturismo Le Querce del Vareglioper una sola notte come tappa intermedia del viaggio. La nostra camera era una junior suite abbastanza confortevole. Non era possibile regolare l’aria condizionata, frigobar vuoto e non funzionante.Immerso nel verde, tra frutteti e vigneti, potrebbe essere un luogo di relax. La piscina peró non è una “swimming pool” come descritto, è piccola e più adatta ai bambini. La cena e la colazione sono stati molto deludenti.La sera ci sono stati serviti un risotto stracotto e dei ravioli descritti come fatti a mano ma non lo erano. Upcoming a very extensive review. My girlfriend and I stayed at Querce for 9 days. Arrival: After 13 hours driving we arrived at Le querce del Vareglio. The location is beautiful. Horses are roaming the grounds and the area is very secluded. Once you get up the hill there is more then enough room to park your car. At the reception we got our first sour taste of the hospitality of Le Querce. We got our key, where pointed to our room and that was that.
