"We spent an excellent evening at the old hostel, the atmosphere is family and nice, the service is top with a lot of humor and without chichi. There is a real staging with the chimney and the stuffed pig. in feels comfortable! Soup is very good, everyone loved its entry too (the mussels. waouhhh!), the meats are delicious (the lamb confit 8h is really one of the best meat I could taste of my life!). desserts are quite wanted too. wines are a little expensive and the menus are not given either, from 30 to 54€. the addition climbs very fast but there is quantity and quality. Many products are local, dressages may be a bit of finesse (except desserts) but it goes well with the very authentic and local side of this place. I recommend this restaurant and I think we will return!!!"

"Three of us lunched at this excellent restaurant somewhat away from the centre of town and greatly enjoyed the meal. We simply chose the Carte du jour which provided a reasonable range of dishes. Although we arrived close to the official closing time the manager was understanding of the fact that it was not the easiest place to find, and helped us with our selection. The view is magnificent."

"Here's a small restaurant that's a must if you go to st girons! wonderfully well placed, you can restore it for a more than reasonable price. "We went twice to the tillandsia. On the first evening we tested pizza: pretty good, well packed with fresh products and generous proportions. The dough was missing a little cooking on the three. Fresh fries are really good. On the second evening, my friends tested the burgers who are more than good and the fries with particularly remarkable accompaniment. Nevertheless, the bologna spaghetti dish to much disappointed. no real bologna but a vulgar tomato sauce insipid and in minimalist quantity with so little meat that I still look for it ... very disappointed especially since tonight the service was especially long. Good and at least good."

"The only place in St Lizier open on a Monday evening. A roadside café and restaurant with a pleasant enough terrace but close to a busy and noisy main road. There were very few diners but our service was friendly, prompt and attentive. Food was OK. Huge and delicious salad for entrée. The steak was edible, although I asked for saignant and got almost medium. But why serve it with a mixture of braised spuds, turnips and carrots instead of good old chips? The chef's recommended red wine, a Corbières, was utterly delicious. Desserts uninspiring (fruit salad, crème brulée, ice cream... . Meal at €25 decent value."
