"I walked by this place with a friend and we were lucky to get a table without reservation. We sat outside which is fun as you can observe all tourists. We both had Filet de Bouf and I must say, it was a long time ago since I had meat this good. Perfectly seasoned and served with baby potatoes. I used bread to clean the plate, it was that good. Well wine can be considered a bit expensive but I'm from Sweden so €30 is a bargain compared with Swedish restaurants.Be sure not to forget the home made desserts, surprisingly cheap and soo good. I had a laugh when I saw the dessert menu shaped like a tree. See photo.Finally, staff are second to none when it comes to service and attitude. This restaurant is an experience and I can't wait to return on my next visit."

Came here without reservation, walking around Nice. Wonderful place! Nice menu, friendly staff who were accommodating for our children. Had foie gras and a wonderful filet de boeuf of which my son ate half as it was so good!

Our family ate here on a beautiful summers evening for our sons 21st and it was exceptionally busy. We had a table with a lovely view of the sun setting behind the buildings. The food was excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I spent a year in Nice in 1994-1995 and already then I remember going here. Finally back in Nice and we booked a table - outdoor - and we had a great evening. Dinner at 21h:00 in the streets of the Old Town with great service and really great food as well. We will come back next time we're in Nice.

When the first restaurant cancelled my reservation for 38 people 10 days before the "day" Le Tire de Bouchon welcomed me and my guests with pleasure! We had a wonderful foie gras, a delicat canard and the most delicious icecream. The service was splended and we will certainly come back next time we visit Nice.

The food and wine is exceptional. Great service too. While a bit more expensive than surrounding restaurants, based on the far superior quality of the food and service, this place is a bargain. Sadly, we only discovered it on our last night in Nice - otherwise we would've come back every night. A "must visit" for travellers to Nice.

This is a really lovely restaurant and the staff are delightful. You can sit indoors or in the street at the back which is busy and fun. The food is excellent and well cooked but the cheapest wine is €28 for a bottle of very ordinary Rose. There is no carafe of house wine available which is a real pity......it makes a well priced meal a bit expensive.

We went for my wives birthday last night and having only booked late ( you can just walk in) we got seated outside. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful but as it was warm we wanted outside plus you can see the world going by. The food was amazing and the best lamb I've had. Everyone else had steak and all said tasted perfect. Would 100% eat here again

I went here with my Husband whilst we where in NiceIt was a warm Saturday evening & we where lucky to get a table as it was very busy We both had the same starter which was Foie Gras with melon gel, melon balls & it was delicious, I had the lamb shank with zucchini mash which was nice & deconstructed lemon meringue pie as my dessert which was lovelyMy husband had the duck which looks really nice & cheese board We had a lovely meal there & the food was amazing We would definetly go there again
