It’s tough to get a in here due to limited opening hours. But still top of their game and best in the area all things considered. Been there twice in the last month

We went with friends and had a wonderful time. Service was excellent and the food delicious. Prices were pretty much average for the area. We have booked to go again next week. The menu changes everyday with four entrees, two mains and four deserts.

This was always a favourite restaurant of mine in the past. After lockdown the restaurant has now reopened, and it does not disappoint. The terrace has been refreshed, leaving it better shaded in the hot summer sun. The food is still amazingly good and...great value. Outstanding. Ver carta

The unpretentious, family-staffed restaurant is one of the favorite places for locals to go for perfectly prepared south of France foods. Chefs and cooking school gurus around Uzès say it's their top choice. The imaginative menu is boosted by the restaurant's simple setting that's like...an oasis in the middle of nowhere. Le Tracteur doesn't look much from the outside but looks can be deceiving. This is a great restaurant ... really good food and service at very reasonable prices. We didn't speak a lot of French but the waitress was very helpful and accommodating. The food...quality and presentation were first class ... and the prices were exceptional for the standard of the meal. Wine was reasonably priced also and there was a good selection of local wines. We had heard so much about this place and turned up at on a Friday in eager anticipation. We were met with a very cool reception and the words what name none of the usual niceties one expects from a service industry. When...we said we hadn't booked we were informed that they weren't taking any more people in, despite there being empty tables both inside and out. No real regret that they couldn't welcome us. We came away feeling that they are living off an undeserved reputation with a definite snooty attitude. If you want to go there, then you would need to book your table. We certainly won't be trying again.

We were coming out of Uzes and passed le tracteur on the chance it might be open. They have limited opening hours so one never knows. They were and we had another great meal there although it was the first time I’d tried lunch. Same...format, 3 starters and desserts and fish or meat main. We chose three starters and split them like tapas. Sardines, mackerel and asparagus each in their own wonderfully inventive way with the freshest ingredients. Still by far the best restaurant in the region by a long way. Glass of wine dessert and coffee came to less than €50. Also the courtyard gets better and better every year

As soon as I had my pass sanitaire checked I realised that something was different. I went into the kitchen and realised that numa, his wife and the whole team had gone. Wow! We have been going there since the beginning and were witnesses to...its remarkable evolution into a terrific restaurant, very sought after. And after talking to the new propietere she informed me that yes , they had sold up and moved on. They have certainly kept the spirit of the place and improved the courtyard with better tables and chairs.. still the same chalkboard menu with the same sort of choices.
