"Not a pleasant lunch. Overpriced food with impolite staff. We ordered a cesar salad (very typical menu isn't it!!!) and did not realise there were anchovies included... Only answer was "it was written". Not an attempt to help the customer, offer to remove anchovies... The salad it self was with minimal condiment, 3 pieces of chicken, two pieces of cheap bacon ... All for the unjustified price of 14 euros. We saw another table send back a steak that was so black it looked like coal. Also, everyone smokes around you while you are eating... But that is a common issue. Unfortunately we were in a rush so we didn't put too much thought in the choice of restaurant... It clearly back fired!!!"

Not a bad place if you are hankering for a burger. On the busy Blvd Clemenceau, not in a charming location, but ok food for lunch.

From the lovely welcome, to fab food (best fish n chips I've had in France for a long while!), at a great price. I highly recommend this place.

Five of us sat down to lunch with wine and drinks plus sweets and the bill was under 150E. I had a Caesar salad which was crisp and fresh Anchovy's well done Ver carta

We stopped here for drinks, greeted by friendly staff, good place to people watch. A bit noisy as its on the main road but still a good place to sit and people watch

Unfortunately our server was inattentive (we don't require much) and aloof. The place wasn't busy either. The food was pretty good and the beer was cold, after a day of walking around it was the best thing about the place.

Visited for an early morning coffee. Waiter was sullen and uncommunicative. He plonked the coffees down without a word. Maybe he was annoyed we interrupted his cigarette, or perhaps he just dislikes tourists. You'll notice him from the little hat he wears - see if you can get better treatment! Ver carta

Breakfast in the sun, with the international or local news from Maison de la Presse nearby? Delicious, easy lunch? smiling staff? The Wilson gives you all this, and you can sit happily and watch the market stalls, or the passers by... Plenty of good shops around too. What more would you wish for?

This restaurant is nicely located just outside of the old city. It is within a short walking distance of all the sites. On a warm day you definitely want to sit at a table on their upstairs terrace. We had a burger and the beef tartar--both were above average in quality/flavor. The service was good even though it was quite busy.

"This restaurant is part of a hotel in a very impressive 16th century building. It looks very classy. However, the night we were there, there must have been some serious problems in the kitchen (or maybe it is always like that . We started with a shared plate of charcuterie which took a long time to arrive – how long does it take to arrange the cold meats on a plate? We then waited a very, very long time for our main courses. While waiting, we saw a dispute at another table involving the maître d’ and resulting in plates going back to the kitchen. We had both ordered duck à l’orange which came with Camargue rice. The rice appeared to have been baked in the oven and was so crisp and dry that it resembled a cereal bar. The ‘orange’ was not the usual sauce, but instead was four cubes of orange that appeared to have been scorched on a grill. They added nothing to the dish. It had been suggested that we should share a side of seasonal vegetables. These turned out to be big chunks of boiled potatoes (with rice! , a boiled root vegetable and a couple of dry artichokes. We had interchanges with two servers and the maître d – all were cold and brusque. We lived in France for more than 20 years and appreciate the fact that the French like to take their time with meals, but there is a big difference between leisurely and glacially slow. Perhaps we were there on a bad night, others seem to have had a better experience."
