"- Three decent dishes (a crab/shrimp starter, a foie gras starter, and a pork rib main), and one disgraceful flop (turbot with ridiculously pungent quantities of sweetish vanilla and Turmeric claimed to be saffron - paired with asparagus, we found this one of the worst combinations we have come across).- service not on the ball (eg no chance to complain about the main during the course because nobody came by; chaotic clearing, removing some of the dirty plates but leaving others for 10-15 more minutes). Excellent deadpan "I choose to ignore you" body language from the waitress when we discussed the failed turbot dish (of which we had ordered two at 23 EUR a pop)... Needless to say no effort to make amends.I very very very rarely skip desert but this time we chose to leave after the main. I would avoid this place."

Ate a late lunch here in June 2013. Although after 2pm when most restaurants in the area were closed, they were happy to serve us a 3 course "plate du jour".

We both had the set menu plus a bottle of red. Bill was just over 80 Euros. My Tornedos was very sinewey, but the starters were OK & brulee good. Basically absolutely average.

The service was not very engaging compared to other restaurants in France. Some of the food was great and some pretty bland. The egg Cocette was great , but pork was overdone and tasteless.

It was rainning and there weren't many places for lunch. We chose two burgers...well, daily menu look much better and cheaper. Only fries were above average. Moreover, burgers were bit cold. Service was good. Not much to add.

This restaurant, in the mainly pedestrianised area of the old town, offered a good range of dishes, including a couple of vegetarian options. Wine was expensive, though - did not see a carafe (1/4 or 1/2 litre) of house-wine offered. Had to buy the bottle.

After a terrible welcome at the restaurant across the street (La Crêperie Bretonne), we entered this restaurant and received a nice, friendly welcome. We ordered the "menu du jour" and enjoyed our meal. I had the fish with pasta and the desserts were especially good. Nothing too fancy but simple and tasty food. The service was friendly and attentive. The price was reasonable.

We were impressed with the quality of the food. I had cod with a parmesan crust and my wife had pork, both were delicious and very well presented. For dessert I had the molten chocolate pudding which was good without being great, my wife had the cafe gourmand which she thought very good. The wine was expensive, but good and produced locally. Service was also good and we saw a lot of local people who obviously used the restaurant on a regular basis, which is always a good sign.

As someone who lives in France I think this average for a City restaurant. The food prices are good but the wine prices are pretentious, I object to paying just over a 4 times mark up particularly when the wine is served too warm for a Rose and too cold for a Red. I'm yet to be convinced that Pomelo is a satisfactory accompaniment to smoked salmon. The sea bass was excellent but I think the alleged risotto with the scallops was poor, that said the scallops were excellent. Service was good but the whole thing was spoilt by the wine prices.

Hello I agree with others who have written about this restaurant as being average. We certainly had better food and service at many other restaurants in France. (And I did make an effort to order in French)There was nothing wrong with the food. The creme brulee duo was very good and the duck was good. What annoyed me was that we were served champagne in opaque coupes and not until the waiter had left us did we notice they were only half full. This was just plain mean. Service was off hand. A bit more attention to service would have made all the difference between us feeling the restaurant was Ok and really enjoying the experience.
