If you like "moules et frites" then Chez Leon is the place to go. The rest of the menu isn't too bad as well. Limited wine list

You need to like moules to eat here (although there are a few other things available) but as we love them, no problem! Plenty of moules with a good selection of sauces.

I took as a starter the croquettes fromage. The salade served with the croquettes had a lot of black spots and when i looked better i could see some small beasts in my salad... really bad, they did't wash the salad! I informed the wait, she told me that she will inform the kitchen, thats all... i will not return.

After an over priced, over rated meal on night one, we decided to try this restaurant on night two. What a refreshing change. It was so busy with local families and couples and the atmosphere was incredible. The food was fresh, hot and simply delicious...(moules al papillote with salmon for me and fish and chips for hubby). The services was quick and attentive and I would recommend and return here.

Great welcome then slow to take order due mainly to there being very few waiting staff; This seemed very poor for a busy lunch hour. The staff were doing their best and it wasn't their fault we had to wait and we were not alone, others were waiting for bills and to have tables cleared. I don't think they could have worked any faster - run off their feet, rings a bell. Once served, food was good and hot

This is the worst restaurant I have visited in ages. Horrible service. The restaurant's Chefs de Service were totally overwhelmed the evening we went (this kind of people live life overwhelmed by anything), very unfriendly people. They said they had run out of Moulles, but...it was not true because they were serving them all around. AVOID. Is not a restaurant to enjoy or have a good moment. What a waste of time and money from my side!

We have used other restaurants in this chain successfully in the past, so were happy to visit again. All the dishes we shared were at least good: brochettes de gambas outstanding. Drinks prices at this chain are very expensive in relation to the food. A...hedge masks the view (but not the sound) of the motorway. We had reserved for as we were not certain of our arrival time. We were sent a message during the day requesting a change to Reason difficult to understand.....not very professional. We did enjoy our meal but this is not a place we would rush back to.

We had met people of a mid evening flight and knowing they would be hungry decided to eat before returning home. The Leon de Bruxelles is quite close to Bordeaux airport at Junction 14, and as the day before I had received a €20 discount voucher, we decided to eat there.The restaurant was two thirds full, but the restaurant was clearly under staffed. We waited ages before being seated, and the manager at the bar, did not acknowledge our arrival or make any attempt to expedite the situation. By this time the queue was now outside the door.Eventually we were shown to a booth, which was a little tight for comfort, but we managed.After another long wait we were presented with the menu and ordere...
