Les Bistronomes - Carta

Nice people, the food is good and cheap, ok for large groups but only in the terrace, and, a must have with a baby : a real changing table (like the one in your home) in the toilets !

Small bistro you could easily miss. But do not miss the opportunity to drop in and enjoy the food and very pleasant staff. Service with a smile is not exaggerating. Fantastic value for money.

It is a nice terrace at a nice location when sunny. Good food, friendly staff. Actual working hours published at Tripadvisor do not fit to real. First evening I faced closed in despite Tripadvisor "Open". Next day I take a lunch but strange, in the evening it was closed again. Probably during summer tourist season it works normal.

Other restaurants may have a more extensive menu, more tables, etc. but this small restaurant serves simple, well-made meals that are delicious, with good, unobtrusive service. The wine with the dinner was good and reasonable. The ambience was pleasant: sitting out on the square, hearing the sound of the fountain plashing and watching people walking on by!One of the best meals I've had in Montpellier.

Delicious fish course incredibly good value at only 11.50€ for plat de jour and coffee. Level of cuisine what you'd expect from a much more expensive restaurant. Good friendly service, only small quibble (hence 4* instead of 5*) the table for two I booked in the covered terrace area was half in the doorway so anyone walking between the two areas would brush past so I had to ask for a table inside instead. Went here on recommendation from TA members and we were very happy we did so. The waitress was extremely helpful with lots of helpful information in regards to our travels around Montpellier and its surrounds with where to go and what to see.The chef apparently hails from Paris where he worked with one of the biggest names in French cuisine - sorry name escapes me. The food was excellent - beautifully cooked and very reasonably priced.

After reading great TA reviews we had dinner at Les Bistronomes tonight. We were not disappointed! I had the Bo Bun (Asian noodle salad with beef) and my partner had the duck with lemon sauce. Both were fresh and delicious. Dessert was a chocolate lava cake with caramel ice cream and a creme brûlée with thyme, an unusual combination but it was great. The waitress was lovely and attentive despite working the front of house on her own. A wonderful experience! :)

Found this gem on trip advisor, definitely worth a visit! The waiter was very friendly and took the time to translate the French menu into English as best as he could for us. We ordered a French version of a Thai beef salad and it was absolutely delicious!!! Full of flavour, light, refreshing and a massive serving. The chef kindly put it into 2 bowls for us as we were sharing without us having to ask. French fries were quite tasty and a nice accompaniment. The creme brûlée was also a generous serving and we were so glad we opted to try this scrumptious dessert. Great atmosphere in the square surrounded by leafy trees, children running around and lots of other restaurants. The food other gues... Ver carta
